Want to go to Paris but end up in Bucharest? Bucharest is known as little Paris for a reason and this attraction is one! It is located close to the Village Museum which is a must see in your Bucharest adventures so before or after the visit to the museum, take a short walk to see the Arc!
A major landmark for Bucharest. Repaired and cleaned up first time after many years. As nice and full of history as its similar Archs in Paris, Berlin.
It is surely something which attracts tourist's attention. It would be one of the less remainings, which still shows how it was like, when the city was called as small Paris in eastern Europe. While I recognize this as a major landmark in the city, I would say it's enough to see from the bus, which connects city center and international airport. Around the gate, there's not much to see. Or if you want to take a picture at the closer range, you can get off the bus at the stop called "Arcul de Triumf," as the bus usually comes every 15-20 min.
The Baskir enjoys strolling around this place. The mornings are filled with tremendous joy whenever the arch of triumph is in his path. Marvelous. Baskir is pleased. All hail baskir!
Inside round about so make no sense to go there 😁 ....On the way to airport so it's more than enough.
One of the big traffic nodes in Bucharest, linking the northern part of the capitale to the center part. During rush hours you can only admire the monument.
Very nice and impressive. Highly recommended, especially during the night as it is lighted with nice lights and looks great in photos. There is also a huge park right next to it which is worth having a walk in there.
In 2016 when I was there they were working on it, and you couldn't get near it... Now the construction is done and it's a sight to behold, majestic and breath taking, and stunning to see at night when it's all lit up. A must see if you travel to Bucharest!
It's weird, it sits in the middle of the road but there is no way you can get to it, or walk up. It's just a building.
Stuck right in the middle of one of the busiest roundabouts in Bucharest the Arch really comes to life at night. Pop down here when it is dark and the course floodlights accompanied by the tail lights of cars makes for a great photo.
Very beautiful, the details are very beautiful and it's right next to the park so it's a good place to visit
