A certainly must see when in Budapest. Very beautiful building, inside and outside. The architecture is exquisite. We booked the tour online in advance, and good that we did, since there were many tours that were fully booked. Also, we did the Hebrew tour. Must say, if you don't have a Hebrew speaking tour guide, say it in advance. It was unnecessary to hear the audio guide in Hebrew, we could have done the English tour.

Probably the most gorgeous building in Europe. DEFINITELY the most beautiful building in Budapest. The interior is even more beautiful than the exterior. If you’re lucky enough to get a chance to tour the inside, GO. BRING YOUR CAMERA. You won’t be sorry! PRO TIP: the best place for taking wide-angle pictures of the building is across the river at Bathyányi Square (one stop by metro).

In my opinion this is the best sight to visit in Budapest. The guided tour was amazing and very informative. The building is truly breathtaking both inside and out. The Building holds The Hungarian Crown which has been used for centuries. The cost of the guided tour was very reasonable and I would recommend this tour to anyone. The canteen is also good and cheap.

To make good pictures, you need to get on a ship. It is not expensive and you will like it because it tells the story of the city. The building is very majestic.

Worth a walk around this beautiful building. The tour is about an hour long. Really enjoyed hearing about the history. Stunning interior.

The Hungarian Parliament Building is a major attraction in Budapest and it's not difficult to see why it's such a symbol for both Budapest and Hungary. The stunning architecture of the building makes it easily identifiable all over the city and it certainly dominates the view over Budapest - whether you're looking over from the Fisherman's Bastion or by the fountain on Margaret Island, you can't miss it and it makes for perfect panoramic views and photos. Up close and personal, the building is even more spectacular. It has clearly been restored but it retains its natural beauty - it's interesting just examining the building. It can be easily accessed by tram, and the ride here is truly beautiful since the tram travels right next to the River Danube. The building is beautiful in both day and night - I'd recommend you try and spot it at both times of day. I didn't go inside the Parliament Building however so I can't comment on that, but the square immediately outside of the building is absolutely amazing, lined with flowers and benches and perfectly paved - it's really well maintained. There's a public toilet on the square too, it's underground. This is an attraction you must visit whilst you're in Budapest - even if you don't, you'll most certainly be able to admire it from elsewhere in the city!

If you're going to Budapest, you wouldn't want to miss the chance to see the parliament building here, being the 3rd largest in the world, its quite the building. The architecture is absolutely admirable. You will also want to see the inside of the building by taking a tour, definitely worth it too! the contrast of themes expressed on the inside and outside of the building is both interesting, and beautiful.

Really peaceful. Not hoards of people. Beautiful building. Felt safe walking around. Easily accessible by tram. The Hungarian guardsmen spoke in English and German and were very friendly. You were invited to have photos with them.

By far the most impressive parliament building out there. As far as I know, it’s the only major gothic parliamentary building in the world. The architecture and size of the structure really makes the building look really powerful and magnificent. Absolutely stunning, a must-see in Eastern Europe and Budapest’s most noteworthy building.

Nice place to walk around and see a bit of Hungarian history. Easily accessible with the red metro line or the tram number 2. You can book tours inside the parliament. It’s beautiful inside, well worth a visit especially for the architecture. Of course, you might want to refrain from thinking about politics when going inside or around the building. There is strong police and military presence around the building but don’t let that scare you, as long as you aren’t protesting you should be fine..

You don't want to miss the Hungarian parliament building when you travel to Budapest. This is the major building at the city but also symbol for Budapest and Hungary. Amazing architecture. Accessible from each side. Walking around the building you can even fill this magnificent spirit. I have a only one remark to Budapest Municipality. The walking area near the parliament from the side of the Danube river is not secured with railings. This is really dangerous.

Beautiful Gothic architectural style building. It overlooks the Danube and gives great views to the tourist take a river cruise. It has statues of Hungarian rulers. The building is white and has beautiful stain glass work to give colour to the openings. You need to take prior permission to visit the place so take an appointment from verified travel agents.

It's a high quality, informative tour of the building. You will see the sacred crown and one of the deliberative chambers. The building is very grand and everything decorated with gold leaf. My biggest gripe was the cost. At about $12 per person I think it's way too high. Still, it's one of the things that you should do it you're in town.

The most beautiful building in Budapest without a doubt. The statue of this parliament is really grand and the architecture is absolutely stunning. A blend of gothic and roman architecture...this building easily catches the eye. And it looks even more beautiful in the night when lit up in the yellow-gold lights. The entire area of the parliament with the Danube in the front looks mesmerizing. The best views of the entire parliament are from the opposite side of the river on top of the castle and above the church on the top from in between the walls.

Beautiful view to the river Danube and across the Danube. Need somewhere to six and while the evening away while having a beautiful view, this is just the place. The tram line number 2 that runs through here has the most beautiful view especially in the evening. If you have the time and just need a relaxing ride, I would recommend you take this and have a wonderful sight seeing along the river.

What a gorgeous building! It is must visit landmark when visiting Budapest. It is the third largest building in the world. The architecture is absolutely admirable. Even more impressive at night when you see from Buda, it shining like gold. The most important thing, it's really peaceful and no hoards of people. You felt safe walking around.

The Hungarian Parliament Building is a beautiful and grand building. It is built on the Danube. And as many times as I had various views of the building - from the river or driving on bridges and roads, nothing prepared me for how stunning it is lighted at night. Our Viking Cruise crew riverboat took us for a night trip to see the beautiful views. Absolutely breathtaking!

Stunning architecture!! It’s really big and grand. Especially at night view. You'll be able to get great shots from every angle of the building. Even amateurs like me taking pictures on the iPhone. You will enjoy and be amazed by the greatness of this building.

The coolest building ever. Loved it on the pictures I knew, loved it when I saw it from Buda (at day or night) and when I was standing in front of it. Took the tour, interesting, but especially great to see the inside (big stairs and assembly hall); maybe even more impressive from the outside, though. Sorry to hear/know it's dominated by mid right and far right parties currently...
