It was kinda cool, the labyrinth is where Dracula was imprisoned and the dark parts are kinda spooky. I feel like there needs to be more information in there. A lot of it was just bits of buildings with a plaque next to it. I don’t understand how it’s the 8th most popular tourist attraction in Europe but I can imagine it would be much better at night
I love Budapest, really... But this place...The dracula story..really? That's awful... Please do not lie! Google too.
Quite enjoyed it, could make some mannequins move to spook when light is brought closer to watch them or some thermal or move sensors, plenty room to make this place awesome
The pictures that can be found on the internet are from the old labyrinth... and what you can now look now? Nothing, the big empty nothing and nothing that worth 1500Ft/student With a lantern that's light is about zero and sometimes the lights work sometimes they dont so u can see much.. And how kid friendly is it? If you want to bore them to insanity sure great idea... But what can be seen here? Stone pieces and marble and limestone pieces of old building but only a small corner or irrelevant things...and couple of mannequin puppets .....and not mention that they were taking stuff away and we entered a construction site where they finished already but left the mess and water and they pinned a trash bag to the seeling..wow looks very professional! This place should either closed or a maximum of 500Ft / person because it is outrageous that they are asking so much money for this! We paid nearly 50.000Ft to see rocks and puppets in the dark... I will never ever bring a group here or my company!
This is the sort of thing you either love or hate, personally I thought it was awesome. It is a dark, wet, underground tunnel system filled with moldy mannequins and creepy music. It is not a museum. If you go in expecting a museum you will not enjoy it. It can even be a little spooky if you let yourself get into it. It's like a haunted house. Was Dracula ever actually imprisoned in this location? Probably not. But that doesn't ultimately matter. You're in an underground tunnel in a very old city, it's dark, and there's spooky effects. There's a pitch black maze where you can't see your hand in front of your face but to find your way out you have to venture into the darkness. If you like that haunted house feeling, then you'll have fun! It's best to go when it's not crowded so you get that feeling of being alone underground. I gave it 4 stars not 5 because while I did have fun, it is a little bit expensive.
