We love this park and come here nearly everyday. No matter you come during the day time, weekday, weekend, there is always a good buzz around here. It is perfect for walking your dog or just to sit on the bench and have a picnic. There are several festivals going on throughout the year, like “inner city festival”, some food festivals, wine tasting and one of the most famous this summer has been watching the football games. They have a couple big screens and you could buy food and drink and even sit down. Perfect for summer nights.

Have to give this place five stars because they have the big screens set up to watch World Cup. I've come here every time there's a match during my visit here in Budapest and let me tell you, the energy of the fans is like being at the games! People setup blankets on the ground or sit at picnic benches or stand along the side. All along each side of the park there are food stands and bathrooms lined up just outside of those stands. There are people who walk around cleaning up the trash regularly, which is nice to see. Food and beer are available around the park. You can get anything from fresh crepes to mega sandwiches and hotdogs.

The place could not be visited because a concert was taking place that night, and everything was being set. It was bad luck, unfortunately we didn't get to see the real splendor of the monument. But if you can, go to the Schezenyi thermal baths and then visit the square. It is a nice program for half a day.

Great place where people meet and mingle. Small booths of typical Hungarian and other types of foods. Today we were walking back to our hotel and everyone was gathered to watch the Brasil Belgium football game.

Beautiful place to hang out. It's very close to the Parliament and the Danube river. 2 large screens at Liberty square display the football world cup matches.
