Lovely stay friendly staff. Beautiful hotel in a great location. Tables held aside for the New York Cafe. We had a lovely balcony looking over the city across the roof tops. Spa pool was a little cold for what we expected, which we were disappointment about. Great food. Loved my stay.

Amazing hotel. Highly recommended. We stayed two nights at the hotel. Spent the night at the classic room, which was huge, with a king sized bed. Also enjoyed the indoor-relaxed pool, and the sauna, as part of the spa area. The staff were very friendly and helpful on any question. Will be happy to visit back again.

Brilliant service at the hotel reception. Big size room. Big and comfortable bed and pillows. Beautiful building. Super nice space inside the hotel. New York Cafe for breakfast is beautiful and again great service in a breakfast room. Great location, super easy to take public transportation or even walk to the river and walk around the city is easy. Everything seem to be close to the hotel. Only 1 star missing from me because of the wellness. The pool is a bit to small and getting to busy in the pool you can’t swim at all just have to sit down, no jacuzzi. Not look like in the picture. The staff in the wellness reception is not provide a good service and talking not so nice enough for 5 stars hotel.

Exceptional customer service from the very start. We were celebrating our anniversary and they upgraded us to a fantastic suite (232) It was one of the most impressive rooms I have stayed in to date. The manager on shift the next morning mentioned that his colleague forgot to add us to the breakfast list and said that breakfast was now on the house. The way that all the staff treated us was a testament to the great management in place. We also had a massage in the spa and it was great. Highly Recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Budapest!

I've stayed at a extremely fancy room here (complementary upgrade during busy conference) and now I'm here in an average room. Completely different. My TV didn't work, had to move rooms. It's hit or miss whether you get new soap or body wash or bath salts. Very inconsistent. Didn't even get a writing utensil in first room, second I got a pencil. After bringing it to office and leaving it there I didn't get another one.

We arrived on March 9 and will be until the 12th, the staff is very friendly, but for a hotel in this category it has many deficiencies: - the shower can not be controlled, very cold or very hot. - the bed, as there are two small ones; the half is hard and the other half is very soft. - They fix the room very badly - when we arrived The bathroom light did not work

Really nice landmark hotel. The reception area and cafe are amazing and worth popping in just to stare at. The staff was very kind, attentive, and professional. My room was huge, not only for cities but also suburban hotels. I paid in Marriott points so no idea of what this costs. Only complaints were the many light switches in the room were very confusing and the enclosure around the bathtub (which was an enormous soaking tub and they provided bath salts!) leaked when showering requiring using extra towels to sop up after ablutions (which housekeeping was very happy to provide and take away).

Gorgeous hotel and excellent staff! I felt like I was being pampered. Room was spacious with a well stocked mini bar. The view from the veranda, overlooking Budapest was beautiful. Bathing was relaxing in an extra large bath; shower was separate and felt like a rainy day. Would return in a minute. Highly recommend it to everyone traveling to Budapest. It's a location is close (walking distance) to many sites...opera, central market, parliament, etc.

I spent 3 night and there were no incident. Beside the small size of the room 461, it is clean. I had seen better breakfast quality for the same type of hotel. The bathroom is big. The lobby looks gorgeous and ressemble to an amphitheater. The location is convenient because it is 5-10min from the center. Staffs are friendly and nice.

Unbelievable stay. We spent three nights here as a treat... It is very luxurious and if you aren't used to the five star lifestyle, this is a great way to experience it... Naturally you need to save some money up as it is on the pricey side but within a few minutes walk you can find loads of great places to eat and drink for cheap, with plenty of choice. We had lunch in the New York cafe and it was exceptional. The quality of food and service was as you would expect for somewhere world renouned. The staff were friendly and the breakfast service was very good too. The best thing by far was the atmosphere created by the breathtaking surroundings and decoration. The hotel smelt wonderful too. The rooms were clean and spacious. If I had to be picky about anything it would be the hairdryer was not amazing, the TV was only news channels unless you paid extra and there was no mirror on the dressing table. Other than that it was about as perfect as could be... Highly recommended.

Definitely a true five star experience. This is probably one of the most posh hotels in Budapest. Exquisite service, beautiful rooms, fantastically comfort beds. Do note that it's not near any of the city's attractions so you'll either need to walk for 20-30 minutes or use transportation - fortunately tram and metro stops are very close by.

Afternoon Tea was pleasant. Well presented and lovely food. Sadly the water glass was not clean water, even the waitron was shocked! We enjoyed several hours in the spa which was beautiful. The treatments were excellent. The swimming pool is not very clean. The mosaic tiles were all coming off. Not a 5 star standard!!!!

The location is great: walking distance from the heart of the living Jewish Square. Train station of line 2 is also 50 meters from the hotel. Although it located on Elizabeth Street wich is very noisy street. The room, the facilities and the service is also very good. The hotel building from outside and the inside is amazing! The maintenance of the hotel is very good although I would expect better from 5 stars hotel.

NOT anything more than a 3 star hotel. Don’t let the spectacular main room fool you. The spa was run down and just ugly: who plans a black and white themed grotto? No amenities, either. I had to ASK for a towel and shoes to walk in the spa between the separate sauna and pool rooms, which is disgusting considering people are walking around without them. Rooms run down and a bit shabby. When I first got there I was placed in a horrendous room way up in the attic, where half of the furniture was scuffed and broken and there was only a tub you couldn’t stand in, no shower. I was told this was a “special room,” and if I liked I could be moved. Needless to say, I asked to be moved. The next room was fine, not great. Stray hairs on the comforter and in the shower there were a pair of used contact lenses (!!!). My meal at the restaurant was overwhelmingly below average and exceedingly expensive for Budapest – clearly catering to those who don’t know anything about the city. Nothing majorly traumatic happened to me in my time here, but I would never stay here again.
