Lovely informative place. Always a good cup of coffee. Fantastic views
We always enjoy visiting The Castle. Regular art exhibitions together with the displays are well presented and thought provoking. Don't leave without trying the delicious food in The Castle Cafe (and for the best view over Summerleaze Beach)
What a lovely place for a tea, chat with beautiful views. I attended a baby shower event an excellent venue for a small event. Service was excellent.
Lovely quaint little escape from the beach! Lots to see and learn. Very helpful staff/volunteers!
There's nothing in it! Very sparse and to be honest it felt like a art gallery for overpriced pictures more than any kind of heritage museum. I'm very glad it's free entry as I'd of felt utterly ripped of if there was an entry fee. Also access with a pram is a nightmare, we used the disabled lift as the stairs are high and narrow to carry a pram, no real thought for those with young babies or kids. Although I'd question why you'd bring your kids here if you've read this review. The saving grace is the cafe which is staffed by nice pleasant people who offer good service and with a nice selection of cakes and coffees in a modern clean setting with indoor and outdoor seating.
A really lovely place to visit which had an art exhibition on at the time of our visit. Beautiful views from the cafe and really interesting information on the history of Bude.
Interesting and informative. Lovely cafe with great views.
A nice small collection of Bude, and North Cornwall historic artifacts and information , has Disabled Parking , Shop and Cafe, nice views from the seating upstairs.
Amazing piece of local history and very interesting indeed, learned so much about somewhere and someone had previously unheard of. Definitely worth a visit! 😁😍👌🏼
Really lovely, "gentle" (low key) flow through rooms with interesting local history. Not all the interactive displays worked but that didn't matter to us anyway. The cafe also looked good although we didn't partake. It is bright and clean with nice looking fayre on offer. Lovely views from its windows with sea in distance. There is a lift for those with mobility issues. There was also a temporary exhibition of artwork by local teenagers when we visited which was really rather good.
