The great attraction of the city has a wasted potential. You don't have to go inside and pay to see it as going up the mountain near the fence you already see everything. There should be a guided tour that takes you around the place where you get to know its history. I was really dissapointed.
When we visited it was under some serious conservation work so we couldn't go down to see it properly. We still paid the entry fee as I would think this goes to the work. But if you didn't want to pay you can see it easily through the railings if you walk up the hill a bit.
Unable to access it close up. Paid a small fee to walk along a short path. Works being done, not sure when they finish.
the site in completly closed. they charge you to walk a short paserelle and have the same view from outside. it looks like it has been closed for the last 7 years...
Worth seeing for its size .... but currently cannot enter most of it due to restoration work.
