Very Suitable place if you decide to have a picnic with the family or friends..amazing views for making a photo sessions.. So crowded in vacations .. Ability to pick up kids as it's safe..parking area takes very good but the internal cafés not as well
Best park in Egypt ever... Very nice very unique n very beautiful castle view is amazing.. you have a view for old cairo as well. Restaurants exist.. snacks.. very nice for kids.. n adults.. the lake restaurant is very nice place at night
This place is a beautiful respite from the dirt, grime and chaos of Cairo. 20LE entry for tourists and a choice of several places to eat and drink. We chose the Lakeview restaurant. The food was not great but it didn't poison us and the view was lovely. It would be a lovely place for a picnic and has a very nice play park for children.
Excellent place for the whole family. Beautiful scenery. I hope to see water fountains working again.
Really lovely park to walk around, so green and such pretty views of the city. A great place for a walk, with a choice of cafes to choose from.
Alas! The only park in Egypt. Fridays are great for visiting the park as there are events like Tannoura in the evening. It's always crowded and filled with couples who are getting their photoshoot done. However, they have a view point, some coffee shops and a restaurant inside which is quiet. You can even do a little picnic in the lawns of this garden. The place gets overcrowded in the evening. Reach early to get a parking spot and some alone time here
greatly designed and òne of the most beautiful places, however the operation are not making a good job maintaining it. Also, reading and meditation zones are closed because they are used as weddings open halls, and if you get any closer to them, even for just checking the design, a guy will shout at you to go away.
The largest and cleanest green park in Cairo. It's a fantastic place to go alone or with groups. Plenty of places to sit and enjoy the view or have a coffee. The lookout point is nice, and you have a great view of the Citadel. The border wall overlooks the city and it's amazing if you're there during the sunset call to prayer. Perfect place for a picnic or to just read a book. Weekdays are a much better idea, weekends and especially holidays are packed and a ton of kids.
Great place in Cairo to let your guards down for once and just take in the view of the city. A park with quite a few view points(although many areas of Cairo's are quite run down). There are few nice restaurants within the park with fountains in sight. No people trying to sell you stuff there, so just be yourself. The park entry is only 15LE for foreigners. A great place to be when you have enough of the brown and sand.
Greatly cared after park and botanical views. One of the best Egyptian made parks with views on old Cairo and great landscapes. Clean bathrooms, modernized check-in system and affordable entrance prices.
Its a great park to visit..organized and clean..great view of the city. Contains restaurants if u wana eat there and enjoy the garden view.
Very nice, It is suitable for all ages, family and childrens. It has playground area for childrens. It has also restaurants and mosque. But it is crowded in vacancies.
Amazing place. Can't believe I didn't go there all this time, although was in my way. Plans to go soon again.
Well-managed park in cairo, and I think that’s one and only park in cairo that managed as well. Usually I visit this park in the weekend when people come from around the city or the countrysides, because in this crowded you can cope with them and make a friend or little conversation with the local. If you have enough budget, you should try lakeside restaurant for lunch or dinner. From the top of its hill, you will find the best spot to enjoy the view of dead city, old city, and whole cairo. Don’t forget to bring your camera to capture the moments, especially when your visit in the weekend, you can enjoy public performances in main gate area some traditional dance or music.
The only actual park in Cairo. A beautiful spot to walk around while surrounded by the historic core of the city. I love combining a visit to the Citadel with a visit to the park. The playground is a bit rough but it's okay. Avoid going at all on a Friday as it's way too crowded. Going earlier in the day before 2 pm is your best bet on Saturdays. The restaurants are good as well. Grab a crepe at a small stand next to the lake and enjoy your walk.
It's really a huge park, beautiful, clean and good to spend my free time with my friend Restaurants here was amazing 😍 and i enjoyed the views from the top 🏞️ I saw a lot of people got sessions for marriage 👰💒 which was a lovely thing 😆
