The backs is very beautiful with loads of colleges to see you can see Kings Chapel and lots of others you can also get a tour around the backs in a 13 person punt with a professional punter we thoroughly enjoyed it and want to go again. We would advise you to pick a sunny day as it was a bit cold apart from that it is very good for everyone every age !
Amazing place. Walking through history with 7 colleges to see, some dating back to Henry VIII. Very relaxing whether walking or punting along the river. Parking on Queens Road is convenient but very expensive, but that's typical lefty Cambridge.
Beautiful and peaceful place to walk, relax and have a good time.
This is a must whilst in Cambridge. Beautiful walk around this area with great views of Kings College - Clare college and part of Queen's college. If you walk far enough you can get to the mathematical bridge in Queen's college, which is one of the iconic sights in Cambridge as well as the Mill pond.
Nice to sit but not much shade or access to toilets nearby
Short walk from the city centre. Lots of space to park bikes
The best reason for visiting Cambridge over Oxford. If you can get a punt and head down the river, the views are phenomenal. The first thing any self-respective tourist should try to do! But beware of the punt touts - often better to hire your own.
Absolutely beautiful stretch of road along the college backs. Take the time to explore all the bridges and the quintessential British gardens!
Fantastic place full of history and amazing architecture. Need to spend more the one day there
Beautiful views of the Cambridge colleges.
Happy memories of punting on the Backs down the back of King's college back when I was young. Can't wait to go back...
