Small but packs with excitement. Must visit place. Rm7 per entry is worth it.. cant rate 5 star. I spot animal is lonely and dead in a cage. Cleanliness is not well maintain. Otherwise is ok. Family with kids will enjoy alot. Thanks
Hmmm they should not be calling it a butterfly farm because there's also vegetables, flowers, animals and....beetles to be seen? The place is very old....haven't changed since I last went there a decade ago and you can see it's aging and not much upkeep has been done. On the bright side there's quite a lot to see and there are no fees for toddlers.
Surprisingly interesting. There were more insects, & animals than just butterflies. My children had lots of fun looking at their exhibits
The fact that you can see beautiful butterflies roaming freely inside, and within touch itself is worth the money spend. Apart from those butterflies, there are others animals and flowering plants, vegetables for display. This is a must visit place. Entrance fees is RM7 for adults. Can't remember the kids one though. Owh, the guy in the entrance will come take ur pics halfway through your journey. You can choose to buy the printed photo from him or not on your way out..
It requires entrance fee but it free for kid those below 3 year old. Actually it is a small area for butterfly and it not have much species. Some lay on floor might be due to space no enough. Aside that you may find some creepy-crawly animals here. Inside have 1 small museum for the butterfly. If you have kid may be can bring them have a short visit so that they can explore a bit.
They required me to pay RM7 per visit both for locals and foreigners. The main attraction was big butterfly, idk what kind of butterfly it was. Moreover, they also have moths, lizards, frogs, other insects, unique plants, spiders, chickens, birds, rabbits and an insects museum. The cons of this place were not really well managed and smelly toilet. Overall, i enjoy this place.
As we were actually expecting a huge hall with butterflies flying around us this was not quite what we hat thought of. But there was nice staff that took butterflies and stick insects and put it onto us (after we said yes we would like to have them on us). It seems to be a privately kept farm , nicely done and also including raccoons, spiders, snakes, ducks, rabbits and guinea pigs . With the entrance fee of 7RM for an adult and 5RM for a child which in our case translates to 1€ per child.
For kids it is ok. They enjoy butterflies and other animals and birds. If you have kids can bring them and they will enjoy. But cleanliness matters. Not so clean this area. They should improve. Thanks.
I absolutely enjoyed my time here! If you like flowers, butterflies, creepy crawlies and small animals, you should definitely stop by. The butterflies are set free around the place, and you can also touch stick insects as well, if you can spot them. Highly recommended of you're looking for a place to entertain your children. The toilet was well kept during my visit.
Please do not expect a big garden with lot of butterflies. Its a small enclosed area with butterflies, not too much species of butterfly. Good enough to view them if you like them, but most of them are usually seated on top or on the side of net enclosures. May be because we reached during evening before sunset. Try to go early morning when they are more lively. Different section for reptiles(in box enclosure snakes, lizards) and few amphibians. There is also a small section with moreover daisy flowers, good place to take colorful photos in between flowers...
