The Cancún Underwater Museum (Spanish: Museo Subacuático de Arte, known as MUSA) is a non-profit organization based in Cancún, Mexico devoted to the art of conservation. The museum has a total of 500 sculptures, most by the British sculptor Jason deCaires Taylor and the others by five Mexican sculptors, with three different galleries submerged between three and six meters (9.8 and 19.6 ft ) deep in the ocean at the Cancún National Marine Park. The museum was thought up by Marine Park Director Jaime Gonzalez Canto and Jason deCaires Taylor, with the objective of saving the nearby coral reefs by providing an alternative destination for divers. It was started in 2009 and officially opened in November 2010.

The day we went to musa was a sunny day, so the visibility underwater is really good and we have had a great time there! It was really cool because here you can enjoy the magical relationship between man and nature. It's OK if you never tried scuba diving before, they will give you a lesson in the pool before your real adventure to make sure you get every skills you need, and there will be 2 professional in each group and they check your condition every few minutes, so it's really a safe and interesting place to go! REALLY recommend
It was an awesome experience, we totally enjoyed it so much. Me and ma friends had so much fun at this attraction
The address on google maps is the address for tour operator it seems. We came here at 9am and had to sweat to find this location. Someone else told me later that the location is in Isla Mujeres. I even called the number on the website but no response
Really cool experience. Was amazing
You can't miss visiting this great museum, it's really fantastic and very entertaining, I was too comfortable.
I maybe american salvadorian and mexican but man it was fun when i got there.
I was awed by the friendliness and the beauty. Book a ticket.. you won't be sorry 😁
Unique underwater museum, with many human sculptures, and also an old car. You can snorkel in there but I guess it's better to dive and see it from closer.
It was impossible to find this place, the 2 taxi drivers I used were not able to take me to this place, instead they took me to Aquaworld. I really wanted to see it in my stay at Cancun. Dissapointed.
