The Marineland of Antibes is a theme park founded in 1970 by Roland de La Poype in Antibes (Alpes-Maritimes), in the French Riviera. On 26 hectares it includes a marine zoological park with dolphinarium, a water park (Aquasplash), a children's play park (Kid's Island), a mini golf (Aventure Golf) and a three-star hotel (Marineland Resort). It is the property of the Spanish multinational company Parques Reunidos, whose majority shareholder is the British investment fund Arle Capital Partners. The actual director is Arnaud Palu.
It is one of the four French dolphinariums and one of the two European dolphinariums presenting orcas. With 1.2 million visitors in 2014, it's the most visited site of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. The zoological park is one of the most visited in France.

It was enjoyable and had a decent amount of animals. But the main attraction is without a doubt the shows in the huge stadiums they have. It's pretty impressive, but I wouldn't say it sets itself apart from other places doing similar things...

Dolphins and Seal presentation are just amazing for family, friends and anyone. I’m really amazed at how animals can be tamed and trained to perform for amusement. I’m sure they really love doing that. If you are looking for a place to wonder at the responses of marine animals, Marineland is just the right place to be. For an English speaking person, listening to the presentation in French was also fun for me.

We were a little sceptical about Marineland before visiting. But this was an amazing day out worth every penny my wife and i and our 3 boys loved all the shows. I can't rave about it enough

The live shows are by far the best part of the marine park and provide good entertainment for both young and old. The aquarium displays are a bit lacking. Out of season your choice of places to eat is limited. Snacks and drinks are available at vending machines located throughout the park.

It is a good experience but it seemed very short to me specially considering how much it costs to enter, the kids zone was the most fun since you can enter to the fences with the animals and walk around with them, overall it was okay, maybe with a discount or something is actually worth it

I personally didn't go, but some family members did and they are appalled at the way marine life, especially the orca Wilkie, are treated. :(

Fantastic day with the beautiful creatures of Marineland. Price wise can work out expensive unless you look into a cote du azure card. With the card it allows you access to 108 destinations within the Riviera, Including Marineland. The food and drink a between 4€ and 12€ depending on what you buy. The shows and performances are breath taking and easily on par with Florida and other water/marine parks. not too big either you can explore it within a few hours and catch the shows which happen most days.

Obviously fun but still like SeaWorld some shows need to be more animal-friendly :)

Dolphinariums show us the image of a playing dolphin, gentle and quick to entertain us. But behind this façade hides a sad reality: these intelligent animals are enslaved by food and suffer endlessly from the perils of captivity. #DontBuyATicket #EmptyTheTanks #CaptivityKills

Enjoyed overall experience especially orcas presentation. All sea/ocean creatures looked happy with reasonable size enclosures, however felt very sorry for the polar bears. They looked restless in small and hot enclosures. Believe they should not be there especially when the place is called Marineland or at least should have better conditions.

Fantastic day out for all the family. Cheaper to buy entry with meal deal online than pay entry at gate. Brilliant shows with seals, dolphins & orca. Friendly staff & helpful.

Very nice place to visit. The dolfin and killer whale shows are the best attraction of Marineland. Full day enjoyment.

Great Park to visit with kids different sea animals and a small zoo to watch the animals. Recommend to go to all shows and stay at the park for the day. Definitely a hall or at least a half day trip. Enjot

Very nice, but expensive. I hope at least some of the money goes for conservation efforts. Pools were quite large and animals seemed happy. Even that animals on captivity is a shame, it has value for future generations as inspiration and maybe it informs people about the condition our planet is.
