Belle Vue Park is a large Victorian public park in the west of the city of Newport, in South Wales. It was awarded a Green Flag Award in 2008 and has maintained the status for over a decade since.
The land on which the park stands was a gift to Newport from Godfrey Morgan, 1st Viscount Tredegar in 1891 to provide a public park for its citizens.
Beautiful Victorian Park, no matter what time of year, this park will provide you with joy and splendor. Great for kids to burn off their energy, life music from the bandstand in the summer season, also a delightful tea rooms with snacks. Finest park in Newport.

Great for walks. Just be mindful of the workers in the buggies. If there are any Pokemon Go players out there, this is a safe place to go with the benefits of multiple stops and gyms within the grounds.

It's a wonderful, peaceful sanctuary on the edge of the city centre gifted to the people of Newport by Lord Tredegar more than 100 years ago😆 It's on a south facing slope so gets the sun all day - lots of mature trees if you want shade and large open grassy areas for kids to run around.

A great example of horticulture at its finest all year. Boasting an internationally stocked Arboretum with a number of gems in the collection. Look out for the wild birds and animals ti A safe, easy access park for all.

Always see squirrels there...plenty of space to walk the dog and the kids can play in the park. The gates are manually locked 8.30pm every night by a grounds keeper and is always maintained of rubbish etc. It's probably the nicest park in Newport.
