Awesome attraction, a bit scary at first place, though a valuable insight into miners' working environment and overall conditions. Can be also guided in English (on request). Otherwise go with English speaking local to get the best out of it.

The mine was an interesting experience taking a small train into a mountain on a hot day and then being in a cave that was freezing. I really enjoyed the break from the heat. The mine was cool seeing graphite on the walls. In some areas you could see and touch veins of graphite.

Very interesting and authentic experience of a Czech graphite mine that was operational until 2003. The guide was very friendly and knew the mines and former miners very well

Very interesting place for visitor of Cesky Krumlov You go down to the mines with old train All visitors get safety vests and old flash lights Don't forget take a jacket with there is 10 degrees of Celsius all year ,take an extra flash light for better view A lot of fun for whole family and a group Highly recommended
