Chiang Mai Night Bazaar or just Night Bazaar (Thai: ไนท์บาซาร์, Nai Basa) is directly east of the city moat, between it and the Ping River, on Chang Khlan Road, between Tha Phae and Sridonchai Roads. It is known for its handicrafts and portrait paintings. There are also jewelry, toys, clothing, and high tech items such as CDs and DVDs. The market is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Chiang Mai. At first, the market was owned by Chinese merchants, but it grew in size as more commercial buildings were built, and it was no longer owned by a single group of people. Instead, there are many owners, and most of them are Thai.

This night bazaar is unbelievably huge! If you like street food this is the perfect place! There is also live music and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended!👍🏻

Good range of good quality Thai products and be sure to haggle. Cheaper clothes can be found in places like Big C but perhaps at a lesser quality. Excellent range of Thai food at cheap prices.

Bring good walking shoes because you will need them. We spent 2 to 3 hours just on 2 maybe 4 blocks. The place is huge. Great food, wonderful vendors and beautiful craftsmanship from local artists. Throw in a few temples in the mix though the walk through. Great time

Something for everyone.... And reasonably priced gifts. Great massage and all kinds of foods for every palate. Just be specific about food intolerances as oils tend to be reused. If you are looking for something - you will most definitely find it here!

Been living here for a couple years now and I've been to this market tons of times. Great place to refine your Thai language speaking ability, people watch from the bar on the second floor McDonald's, Duke's Original burger (enough said, best burger in CM), grab a delicious fruit smoothy, watch the people from a 100 nations pass in front of you every night, or hit the Lemon Grass restaurant (best Thai food in CM). Easy accessible on a motorbike but there is paid parking next to Duke's as well.
