Beautiful view of the city from the observation deck. Chicago has a magnificent skyline and architecture and this place gives a great view of it in all directions. For an additional charge, the Tilt offers exciting experience to have a tilt down view of the city downtown. It's a slow tilt but still not for everyone! Go early to avoid wait time. Staff is courteous. Super fast elevators. They offer photo options with the sky view for additional price. It's a slow tilt but still not for everyone! This is a must visit place when in Chicago!

While certain aspects of Chicago 360 scream tourist trap (I’m talking to you, overpriced pictures and souvenirs!), the observation deck on the 94th floor of the Hancock Building provides an unforgettable, panoramic view of the Chicago skyline. The elevator ride is incredibly fast and smooth, making it somewhat bearable to any claustrophobic members of your party. Day or night, the views are spectacular. The crowds seem more manageable in the evenings, though. I enjoyed the historical displays in the lower level waiting area more than I expected.

Awesome view the tilt experience was amazing.... other than the fact of the photographer wanting 15 pictures instead of my wife and I enjoying the view. You only get 1 minute in the tilt and 40 seconds is trying to take pictures. What a joke. I would go back for the 360 experience but for sure would not spend the extra on the tilt unless you just ignore the photographer like my brother he said he loved it. They should not push to sell pictures like that. Generally disappointed in that.

Pricy! But high demand attraction so.. SKIP the tilt addition; save the 7 bucks. Its cool but.. its very short, the experience is short.. and unless you are scared of heights, quite underwhelming. Just enjoy the fact that you get to view the city in any direction you wish :)

The view was spectacular. We didn't do the tilt because honestly it wasn't necessary. You got a clear view of everything just by being on the 94th floor. They had a bar too which was very nice. I could stay up there all day. It was the highlight to our stay in Chicago.

Awesome views. Before visiting, did a lot of surveying about whether to visit skydeck or 360 degree Chicago and majority of the reviews recommended 360 degree Chicago. Views of the lake are nice coupled with downtown skyline. There is a tilt ride for additional $7. Moreover, it is recommended to plan a visit in such a way that daylight, sunset, and night time views are seen. Nice place to visit with family.

The impressive faster line than the Sears(Willis) Tower Observation Deck, thus provides not just good views but arguably better as you not just get to see the iconic Sears Tower, but a much better view of the Northshore skyscrapers and lake view. I’m not saying pass on the Sears Tower, but if you have time it’s a reasonably quick and easy thing to do on very short schedules. Consider the city pass for cheaper entrance to local museums and the like.

We were there as a big family of 6. It was a weekend and we loved it. Weather was great too so we can have better view. Tilt was fun even my 4 yrs old done it. If you go there In The weekend you should go as soon as open 11:00am because later get very busy and you may wait over 1 for tilt.

It was awesome with amazing city view of Chicago!! I liked the place a lot. Before you go there, make sure you park the car in a good spot because you would be most probably stay longer than 1-2 hours. You have to pay extra money for tilting view. First ticket you buy is to just go up and see. Then you have to buy for tilting view. Worst part is you are not allowed to take picture in the tilting zone and they take your picture with DSLR but charge a way extra money to print/get each picture, which I believe is not worth it. Overall I love the place and would visit again.

Visit to this place comes with year long entry pass. Must try chicago gold coins game on the floor to collect souvenir. Also good shop to buy gift items. You get amazing views of Chicago from this observation deck on the 94th floor (out of 100) in the John Hancock building. The Tilt experience is fun (if a bit scary since you are looking down 1,000 feet). I was there for a private event and it is a great venue. The sunset was magnificent.

I went up there for a first time and the whole experience was excellent. It's really a place to spend a good time with family while looking over a terrific Chicago city skyline and suburbs. They have a stairs on south side to sit and enjoy the view and as well as a lounge to enjoy snacks and drinks.

Loved it but $46 just to ride the elevator up and doesn't include a free picture, allow me to clarify. $46 is what it cost me plus 1 other person. By the time you pay for you and 1 other person to go up stairs, do the tilt, by the pictures because they don't allow you to take your own you have easily spent $100 and add more if you would like drinks from the bar. Again for a first time experience it was cool but I probably wont visit again due to the price.

Great views when we got there at night. We got there at 10pm and there was no one in line. Military members be sure to ask for the discount, it is half off. The night view was pretty spectacular. The leaning attraction cost 8 bucks. It was cool but I personally don’t think it is worth it since you are leaning out like 2 feet

Amazing view. The tilt was bit scary, however its was quite adventurous. The best time to visit the 360 is after sunset. Travellers who are planning to visit 360 and skydeck. I would suggest to go to sky deck during the day time and 360 after sunset, so that you could cover both the daylight as well as night time. The reason why I suggest 360 after sunset is because, its right on the Michigan ave and quite covers most beautiful parts of the downtown like the entire Michigan ave. Navy pier, uptown, lake shore drive and beaches on the lake shore. Note: Apart from the entry fee, you have purchase a 8$ ticket for the tilt.

I highly recommend this. As long as you've been to Willis Tower at least once, don't bother with the high price and long lines there. The line is so much shorter at Hancock, it's cheaper, you get a better view of the lake, plus a view of Willis itself. The tilt view seems neat but I didn't try it (it's an extra $8 and a little bit of a line to wait in - there's also a height requirement so little kids can't do it). The nice thing about the Tilt View at Hancock, compared to the vertical views at Willis, is that when it's your turn, it's your turn - you're not fighting for space and then rushed out of the way like at Willis.

I thought 360 Chicago was alright at best. The main attraction is the "Tilt". It was mediocre at best. I enjoyed it, it just wasn't as fun as I thought it would be. The thing was that the "Tilt" only last roughly less than 2 minutes. The view was amazing, yes. However, for $7, it was NOT worth it. The whole area was nice though. The views were amazing from all sides and seeing the beach was amazing as well.3 out of 5

It's a bit of a tourist trap but a definite must see for first time Chicago goers. I took a friend from out of town who enjoyed the visit. We went a little later in the evening too so the wait wasn't bad at all. My friend had also bought a coupon pass for some of the attractions in the city which made the price of our visit here very reasonable. I didn't really have the chance to try out the tilting things but the view at night was just as beautiful as I remembered.

I went at around 1pm on a Sunday. Line was super quick, not even 15 minutes to buy tickets and ride to the top. The view was amazing and on par with the sears tower. Tilt was pretty cool and on par with the glass ledge at the sears tower but a little less freaky. The whole building and top floor felt really classy as far as the refreshments/food for sale. If you were forced between this or sears tower I would pick this just because of the line situation (2 hours vs 15 minutes).

Great skyline view of the city of Chicago! Fast elevators: you'll need to pop your ears, seriously. But the tilt windows, exhibits and bar are top notch. Gotta stop by here if you're visiting Chicago. It's every bit as nice as the Seattle Space Needle if you've ever been there.
