Wonderful Place, family orientated, friendly staff and excellent value for money! There is no time limit on your stay once at the top, you have two incredible virtual reality attractions on level 72 that offer out of this world graphics- a tenner for one, add another fiver for both- your entertainment is sorted! :) Can't highly recommend this place enough- go, go, go! If you purchase a family ticket during half term you get a free goody bag- binoculars, a book, shard pencil, London bus keyring- great for kids!

Amazing experience!! Views are stunning (on a clear day) and give you a unique perspective of London. If there is bad weather when you go you can re-book another date for free! There is also a great drinks bar and champagne bar at the top to help you enjoy the views!! Well worth the money and I will be back!

Great during the day, but even better during the night. Even though you are not allowed any massive photography equipment (tripod mainly) I managed to sneak in a small Gorillapod, which was so useful to take slow shutter photo’s. Very busy during the day so best to time your visit for a clear sunset evening. Nice place to zone out, go on a date, or show someone around who is from abroad.

Expensive entry fee. I was later advised by tour guide that if you say you just want to go to the bar , you can get in for free! Virtual reality 'ride' was fun but short lived. Great view and interactive tour machine gadget was nice. They need more seating areas though. Staff were friendly and happy to takes pictures of you with your device. Overall, pleasant experience.

I really enjoyed the the observatory at the Shard although very tourist centric with large crowds you do get great views of the city and there is a bar so you can enjoy the sights as you take in the view. The price of the ticket is reasonable (less than £30) and you get a good amount of time up in the clouds. I went during the evening and the night view was amazing but if you're looking to capture some great images I would recommend during the day or at dusk.

Went there as a birthday treat and had a really enjoyable experience . The views were amazing and had a few drinks. Paid and tried the virtual reality experiences tasks. Weather sunny and clear but don't worry if the weather make the view very bad you can you return tor free another time. Just checked the terms and conditions for that. I would thoroughly recommend to go there.

I'd say this was one of the best experiences I had in London! It was amazing to see the city in this point of view. Worth the price in my opinion. We arrived right after 10 am so it was not much people on the line but it might get crowded on other busy hours, even it's not a free place it was already lots of people on the line when we exit.

Views amazing of course, but almost no guidance or information about what you are looking at. That's not too bad for relative locals like us, but must be annoying for anybody who doesn't know the city. Much eaker experience than comparable attractions in Paris, New York, Melbourne etc etc. Also, unlike many other towers there is no outside area - all enclosed in glass which is fine, but felt claustrophobic especially when full. Bar staff friendly and helpful, and prices surprisingly fair.

Absolutely amazing attraction which although expensive, offers the best views in London and is absolutely breathtaking. All the staff are so helpful and polite, advising on so many things and a couple even showed me the best part of London as well as helping me to spot the landmarks as the sun was going down. All the staff made what could have been a very lonely experience as a solo traveller very memorable. Would happily go back in an instant 😊

Probably one of the best aerial views of London. However, for the price there really isn't much to do other than buy some refreshments and look at the view. There's also a neat VR experience, but it didn't seem all that exciting (to me at least). I would recommend this place if you're passing by and have a London pass. The view alone is worth checking out!

Excellent experience! The lifts are super fast, and it wasn't terribly crowded. The enclosed viewing level on floor 69 was very nice, but the open air viewing level on floor 72 was our favorite. We went at sunset and it was a fabulous view.

Perhaps it is because of past experiences with other towers (Sears etc), but I couldn't find anything especially compelling about this attraction. Perhaps only 1 of 2 options if you are keen on an aerial London view. I didn't take the London eye so can't compare. The staff at the view were nice and took interest in helping visitors get photos of themselves. They do also sell some drinks and the like at the top. There wasn't much of a wait at all on a summer evening, so that was good.

Absolutely stunning panoramic views across London. On a clear day you can see for miles around, with all the main London landmarks to be seen like never before. The viewing platform is very pleasant, with faux grass for you to sit and enjoy the view. The top floor is open air, and can get a nice breeze on a hot summer’s day. Whilst some may say the price is too steep, especially in the restaurant/bar at the top, this is the sort of thing that you only do occasionally and is therefore well worth it in my opinion. If you’re ever stuck for something to do on a clear day in London, I highly recommend giving The Shard a go.

This is one of the best 'Tower' views I have seen, anywhere; including from the Empire State Building (may have an English bias here!). Slightly expensive but well worth the admission price. There are two galleries to choose from. Extremely smooth and fast lifts, went up almost 70 floors faster than 3 at work! The views around London are absolutely amazing, even on a slightly overcast day. What I really found interesting was to follow the rail and road networks snaking through the buildings. Great aerial views of al major landmarks. Refreshments are available from a bar to Champagne via Ice Cream. Gift shop on the way out with photo books, if yours do not come out!

Wow!! This place is absolutly amazing!!! I would rate it 10 stars if I could! I have been at the top of the Empire State Building, the Sears Tower and many more - this by far is nothing like either of those, the design as such is like anything I've ever been to.... you feel like you're standing outside at the top of a glass building, really quite unbelievable! Must see for anyone!!!
