The Kolumba (previously Diözesanmuseum, "Diocesan Museum") is an art museum in Cologne, Germany. It is located on the site of the former St. Kolumba church, and run by the Archdiocese of Cologne. It is one of the oldest museums in the city, alongside the Wallraf-Richartz Museum.
The museum was founded by the Society for Christian Art in 1853, and taken over by the Archdiocese of Cologne in 1989.

Nice Museum, super friendly people. But there is no English guide there. Better know some German. Anyway I like the building itself. super cool

Didn't have a clue what was going on because there isn't a word of English, but the people standing around were fantastically helpful (even though they looked rather serious). The museum is really excellent and the curation and display of art is outstanding.

One of the most inspiring musea I have ever been to. Visitors become part of the art themselves in this minimalistic concrete building, built upon the ruins of an ancient church.
