Donnafugata Castle (Italian: Castello di Donnafugata [kaˈstɛllo di ˌdɔnnafuˈɡaːta]) is 15 kilometers (9.3 miles) from Ragusa in Sicily, Italy.
Although the origins of Donnafugata Castle can be traced to the 14th-century most of its current Neo-Classical and Neo-Gothic appearance belongs to the 19th.
Great castle and worth the price. We really enjoyed the labarinth and the gardens. Some good views from the towers and a nice bar outside for a drink and a rest after. The catacombs signposted at the entrance are a lovely walk as well.

Even if I'm not a big fan of the art nouveau this place is a must to visit. Visiting the castle and the garden you can definitely learn something about the lifestyle of the Noble class of the late nineteen century. There even a labyrinth with stone walls. Beautiful exposition of dresses.

Impressive grounds and gardens to start. Villa is also worth a visit. Not sure if the display of period clothing and accessories was temporary or ongoing but was lovely to see placed in different rooms within the villa.

Probably not worth travelling hours to see, but definitely worth a visit if you are in Ragusa or Punta Secca. Hilarious C19 pastiche of a castle with lovely gardens.

Awesome castle, drive up has great views. The garden is massive and beautiful. The rooms we saw were well kept. I wish they had a guide available or more documents in English so you could appreciate the history.well worth a visit.

Really interesting place to visit with many interesting, elegantly decorated, well laid out rooms, many containing dresses, costumes and hats giving a flavour of Sicilian upper class life in the Bel Epoque. There is a stunning Murano glass chandelier. The castle itself is a splendid building, surrounded by quirky gardens that have seen better days but are still nice for a wander with many beautiful trees and several follies including a stone maze. There are several restaurants, a shop, and a farmyard with fetching cattle in from of the castle. Good value for money at 6 euros per person.

A must see for any Montalbano fan, great castle with ample grounds. Also had a costumes exhibition from the baroque era. You should try the cheese they make right near the castle from the local cow herd, can't get any fresher or artisan than that!

Castle is decorated with fun, playful murals. Garden could use a little bit of maintenance work.
