Cooking class was great. We were about 5 minutes late for the 14:00 short class which was commented on but jokingly. We made our food and ate with the chef, Javier, with plenty of time to get to our 17:25 flight. I highly recommend Javier, he has great stories and teaching method.
I have taken cooking classes in 3 other countries and this has been my least favorite. Our trip to the market was very sub-par as we didn't really tour the market we mostly just bought the things on the list. If I hadn't toured the market on my own earlier in my trip I would have been very upset with this. I also found it very unprofessional that we were not provided copies of the recipes that we made. An ingredient list was provided but no step by step directions which are important when there are multiple steps. Every other class I have had I have been provided with not only the recipes I made but the other recipes that they offer in their classes. In the end I would not recommend it to a friend.
Had a fun morning visiting the market and then preparing Pisco Sours and a great lunch under the guidance of Javier and his team. It was really an enjoyable part of the trip.
