Been here a few times, and every trip is a great experience. It's best to book when the track is empty, as the last time we went we all had the track to ourselves! Booking on the phone was straight forward. Free parking. Excellent facilities. Id also like to thank the girl who took photos of us on the track using her personal phone and transferred them over when we finished. That's what you call going beyond customer service! Thanks!
We took our scouts here for an activity and had exclusive use. A fantastic place to go. The staff are very helpful and the marshals are "sensible". The briefing was brief, clear and not boring The Carts are in good condition and the track is fast and challanging. Both scouts and adults had a great time Highly recommended
Very well organised with a lot of staff who seem to really want to be there and a good emphasis on safety. Great circuit. Good fun
We went here as a group just before Christmas and had a great time. The staff are friendly and polite and briefly explain all the rules when explaining if you are not familiar with them. The track is very large, apparently UK"s largest indoor track, and it will take 80+ seconds for most to go around. The cats are quite fast and handle the twists and turns very well. A race session last around 20 minutes which I would say is about right. All the equipment such as overalls, helmet and gloves are provided. All in all this was a great experience and will be planning a return visit to improve on my lap times :)
Nice place... lovely karts... friendly staff... but just too many bends! Not enough straights or places to pick up a bit of speed!
Second time there. It seems that losing some weight means you get a less powerful kart. For me it meant I didn't enjoyed it as much as the first time. Regardless, good fun. Could be 5 stars if they had more medium sized helmets, cleaner gloves as the ones they provide haven't seen hot water and soap in a while and most important, the overalls trashed my white shirt. It was a bad idea to have a white shirt, one might think, but the dirt would still be there even if you don't see it. Again, hot water and soap.
Cracking day out for our stag do. The boys absolutely loved it. The CK team were fantastic throughout. Highly recommend this place, especially with a big group. Definitely would return.
The karts have horrible low end torque and they die in every corner. In long straights they pick up good speed but they problem is cornering. The karts are also inconsistent, a friend of mine who is usually amongst the best in karting sessions was losing the race badly, after asking to change karts his best lap time improved by nearly 2 full seconds. The staff are lovely though and they made the experience better. The track itself is also awesome, it's a shame the karts aren't more responsive.
Great track with 2 levels, staff could be a bit more friendly but overall experience was really good. Good karts which all worked well
Fantastic go karting track and super helpful staff! We hosted a corporate networking event and filming day at Capital Karts. The location is impressive for filming purposes and staff were very attentive, ebbing and flowing out our evolving needs through out the day. We will definitely be returning!
I had an amazing time I went for my birthday. The was a 15 minute warm up with a 30 minute race. The only thing. If your going to be on that track for more then 15 minutes then I highly highly suggest you ware gloves. I came of of it with both hands coverd in blisters
