Mayesbrook Park is a 43 hectare public park in Dagenham in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. It is owned and managed by the borough council. The southern end, which is mainly a large lake, is a Local Nature Reserve. The area covered by the park was once part of the historic Manor of Jenkins, seat of the Fanshawe family. For reasons which remain obscure, the park is sometimes nicknamed "Matchstick Island".

Nice park. Lovely big lake. Small playground for little ones. Could do with having a bit more in it. Great place for walking dogs, feeding ducks, playing sports. Also, conveniently located next to Sport house gym, which also has a Trampoline Park, skate park and café. Jim Peters Stadium running track is also next door.
Apart from the wildlife the open space this Saturday morning was full if people walking dogs, children playing and even some football in progress as well as joggers. A great hour stroll for myself and partner.
Went to feed the ducks and got chased by geese. A lot of green grassy fields to run on. Very muddy & pooey tho. Children's play area could be a lot better. Very limited for the amount of space that have.
Great for slaying in the snow. Big lake to walk around, and a nice park also with exercise equipment to use. There is aslo a indoor play area with trampalines and foam sponges.
Nothing special, very big and always windy. The play ground need renovation. The only good there is the sport centre "Better extreme"
Lovely lakes, lots of wildfowl. Playground for kids. Nice woodland walk and nature area
Beautiful park with lakes. Lots of birds including swans. There's a sports centre, football game, cricket club, cycling training and free car park.

Love this place big lakes and acres of land to play. Outdoor gym equipment free and canoeing . Feels like you are in the countryside.
Is a very good park with everything that u want. It has has a really beautiful view and a lot of nice people! I think you should visit it!!
The trampoline park is good. Plus, every year a athletics event is organised. Overall, a nice park. Large space, playground, pond and fitness area. Recommend for everyone. If only it was farther from the road.
A gem in the middle of suburbia. Mayesbrook park flows seamlessly from sports and recreation near the gym to ponds, lakes and leisure at the other end. Good for a walk on a sunny day, or a paddle in the lake.
You can jump about on the trampoline park.their is a gym where children can do rock climbing playing football and get fit.Their is a ace where children can play.their is a bench where you can see also the ducks including Swans in the water having a good and peacefully day over their.
I love this park. Cricket club, bike club, athletics club, trampoline park and skate park under one roof. Kids love it as well.
