Large, beautiful gardens. You can easily spend an entire day here. It’s the perfect place for walking, sitting, relaxing with friends and taking photos. There’s a lot of variety within. I love the Rose Mary Haggar Garden when it’s in bloom, and the Woman’s Garden has beautiful reflecting pools and a stunning view of the lake. You can buy food within the gardens, but you can also pack your own food and drinks and have a picnic anywhere within the premises. You can leave and renter to get things from your car. Parking is paid parking only, but you get a discount if you pay online beforehand.

I have loved this place for many, many years. The flowers must be seen to be believed. Have watched the gardens develop, becoming more beautiful every year. It has amazing history. A wonderful place to go alone or take the whole family. Fantastic activities for children. Picnics on the grass are encouraged - bring your own food if you wish. It also has concerts at night during the summer & fall. Every season has something special. Go online to see pictures, current & future events. Too much to cover here!! This place is amazing! Parents will love all the beautiful lawns for the kids to run, play and work off steam. Also the Children's Adventure Garden, of course, and all the water features. Adults will appreciate moseying along at a more sedate pace to enjoy the incredible variety of flora available. The slower you go the more you'll see is the motto and - sacrilege - you might even want to put the phone down and take pics later. Tip: bring a picnic lunch and you'll feel like you're on vacation!

The beautiful Dallas Arboretum! The air was so pristine and the garden so well maintained. I though this place was like the garden of Eden, so beautiful and you could actually see how much time and care was taken to make sure that these gardens looked the part. I love the various kinds of landscaping techniques used, each setting prettier than the other. This place exemplifies oneness with nature! Step away from you mobile phone and I-pads, go here and enjoy being in nature!

Joined the membership as the place is wonderful and the staff treat people with respect. Children garden is large enough. But also we need to be responsible as not all the roads are not 100% safe just watch your steps. Staff are keeping this places clean however it’s not only them but also is that need to take care and keep the garden neat. If your map is blown away by wind, please don’t hesitate to chase it. Thanks.
