The Musée d'art moderne André Malraux (also known as Musée Malraux and simply MuMa) is a museum in Le Havre, France containing one of the nation's most extensive collections of impressionist paintings. It was designed by Atelier LWD, an architecture studio led by Guy Lagneau, Michel Weill and Jean Dimitrijevic. It is named after André Malraux, Minister of Culture when the museum was opened in 1961.
Architect Guy Lagneau was chosen by Georges Salles, director of National Museums, to undertake construction between 1952 and 1961 of the first major museum built in France after World War II. Lagneau undertook the work in collaboration with Raymond Audigier, Michel Weill and Jean Dimitrejvic. The museum, inaugurated in 1961 by the Minister of Culture, André Malraux, was one of the key elements of the reconstruction of Le Havre. The museum was recently renovated by Emmanuelle and Laurent Beaudouin.

Nice to pop in if you're there to see some beautiful Impressionist works. Probably not worth travelling to unless you are an avid fan.

Impresionism and special exhibitions. Great small museum

I loved the Musée. It is very well laid out and it presents a current exhibition alongside a small but significative permanente collection, including Monet, Manet, Gauguin, Van Gogh and many, many more.

It is not a modern art museum. Classic art. It was modern long time ago.

This museum Might be good for serious art lovers, for normal visitors there is nothing to really enjoy

Lovely little museum. Nice collection of impressionist paintings, dominated by Boudin. There was also a social exhibit of art and the sea (my own poor translation of the title). The only reason I graded 4 instead of 5 stars is based on what I had read about the collection. I had hoped for a little more breadth to the collection. Certainly worth the visit, however.
