We really enjoyed our one night stay. Our puppy Spud was made very welcome (poor Buddy the bulldog put up with her playfulness). It was nice to find such a lovely place to stay that we could bring our dog. The staff and owners were all very welcoming. The room was clean, well equipped and we had a lovely view of the harbour. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. Just what we needed after a night of birthday celebrations! We will return and would recommend.

Great venue for a family day out. There's quite a lot of hands-on and interactive stuff for the kids, including tours of the top deck by the captain. There's a handy cafe for a pit stop, but the ship is really handy for loads of places in Greenwich. Fascinating details of life of the crew back in the era of tea clippers.

In any occasion and any weather conditions is pleasure to be there. Definitely one of my favourite places around London. Amazing combination between history, stunning views, river Thames, close to Greenwich park and big playground for kids.

Great experience, good for kids and adults. So much knowledge about the ship and the life on the ship among staff , you could ask them anything. Very engaging, with a great atmosphere onboard. Lots of games to play to entertain children(and adults!) Well maintained, clean and clearly loved heritage. Adult ticket price is £13.50. We spent about 1.5 hrs looking at everything. There is a nice coffee downstairs where you can see the ship from underneath, in the evening it transforms into a theatre. What a creative way to keep the ship alive. Go all the way to the top of the ship, see how the sailors lived while on water and to experience the amazing view of London. Will be back with the kid 😂

I only viewed the ship from the outside, since entry is £13.50. It is a very impressive ship, and beautifully restored. You can right up next to it from outside, and walk into the souvenir shop and see the body of the ship. I look forward to seeing inside one day!

Firstly Greenwich is a great place to while away a morning for afternoon, a visit to see this old ship right in the heart of it just adds to the attraction. However for me it is just not the same, I was lucky enough to see it before its nigh on total loss in the fire. Whatever they might tell you, It's still pretty much a copy and that thought just won't leave my head. If you haven't been, go, you'll have a great day out, there is so much else to see in its vicinity anyway....

Great place for London visitors. You can take a boat trip from here to Tower Bridge or all the way to Westminster. Cutty Sark looks great after multimillion restoration. Plenty to see around, you can visit near by navy museum or walk to Royal observatory. Greenwich Market is worth visiting for great selection of multinational foods or homemade arts and crafts. Beware of parking. It's hard to find one and once found it's quite expensive.

Always a great place for a day out. Wandering along the Thames, Greenwich park, ... I visited the boat before the fire. It was a great experience and I'm sure it's still nice. Love the small food market next to it too.

Wasn't sure if my 8 year old would be very interested, but she was super into it. Lots of awesome, interactive, displays and plenty of fun stuff for kids. Don't skip the great little pamphlet for kids at admissions-- totally made the experience more fun for my little.

Great interactive exhibition in the hull of the ship, definitely well worth it if you are bringing young kids. Really cool to be out on the deck with a nice panoramic view of Greenwich, the Thames and Isle of dogs. More of an experience than a museum as such, and traditional musem lovers might want more detailed information - it's all quite high level.

Didn't go there since...it reopened after refurbishment. I had a bad feeling about it. We took the kids +cousins for a guided tour. We all enjoyed it very much, learnt a lot and had great fun. The guide was amazingly good and managed to engage with everyone. Brilliant. Our boys sent out flag messages. Well done : it's a lovely place to go to!

Brilliant! I booked this on a whim since I was going to the Observatory anyway and I'm so glad I did. You get to walk all through the ship and it's really interesting and interactive. There are lots of tactile experiences and it's so much fun to explore the ship. I would absolutely recommend this. I enjoyed it more than the Observatory! Plus there is a nice café beneath the ship.

A unique museum in a beautiful location. It has a great mix of exhibits, using video, audio and hands-on stuff for the kids (which was great fun!). Standing on the deck of the ship is nice, and really allows you to consider what life was like aboard (check out the hologram crew-mate) which is important. Also it is very pram-accessible, and the staff are lovely. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed the experience with my 4 year old boy. We came by boat along the Thames which was very enjoyable using the clipper service. Toilets and shop onboard along with tray tables on every seat. The Cutty Sark is very interesting allowing access to the three levels of the ship and a cafe experience under its hull. Really cleverly done. Would loved to have spent more time there but it didn't quite hold a 4 year olds attention for very long! Great buggy access also.

Well preserved and lovely to get to see the underside of the ship. Lots of interesting interactive things to do so great for kids and adults. It's not too expensive especially if you buy a joint ticket to the observatory as well £20 for an adult and then you can make a day of it, I'd suggest a picnic in the park in the middle if it's a nice day. You can spend as long as you want looking around, it took us about an hour but we could have easily stayed longer if we'd have started earlier in the day. Great views too!

Pretty cool experience getting to see the inside of the fastest ship (of her time) and learn about the import of tea. Super well preserved (90% original parts!) and worth checking out. If you plan to go to the Royal Observatory of Greenwich as well you can get a combo ticket. (student tickets are only on week days)

Loved it! Was what I expected from our visit. The place was nearly perfectly laid out, nothing was really out of place. There were things to watch, interact with, also kid friendly I'd say. A few things here and there which needed maintenance but altogether, was great experience. The lower level had refreshments to be purchased and things for kids to kill a little time with and upstairs had the gift shop. A must...

A truly amazing site. The children were completely aghast at being able to walk under a ship of this size. A definite must for a day out. The cafe is good and there is plenty of seating. The access for disabled is very good. There is a car park right next to the ship. Around the ship are plenty of shops and places to eat. We spent a good 3 hours here. And there’s lots of space for the children to run about.

Superb! A unique opportunity to explore the ship originally built in 1869. Plenty of information about the ship & it's history is available all around the ship. The main deck is truly amazing, giving us a chance to step back in time to discover how the crew lived, ate & slept. There are low ceilings and lots of steps, so tread carefully & wear appropriate footwear! The staff were knowledgeable and courteous. Under the hull was breathtaking- I was really able to appreciate the size & complexity of the ship & it's cutting edge design. Do not miss this !

amazing to go on weekends, very busy in the summer! the market is just wonderful with excellent options of food and also restaurants around. If you want to explore the area, try to cross the foot-path tunnel below the river to Island Garden and come back to Cutty Sark. If you want to go to central London I recommend you to take the River Bus which goes all the way to Westminster and arrives opposite to the London eye!

Beautiful museum and magnificent tea ship! Nice cafe in the basement under the ship. Cutty Sark shop has some exclusive things like special tea sets made for CS and nice wind and winter jackets and caps. Cutty is very nice place to visit with kids- has lots of fun interactive hot spots and also crew dressed like they just came from India or Australia. View form the upper dock is sensational!👍🏼

What a wonderful experience. Walking inside the very body of this ancient and proud tea vessel was a very exciting adventure. You can literally smell the salted seaside breeze while you walk beneath deck trying not to bang your head against the metal beams ad rafters of the old ship. Beautiful reconstruction above deck with all the ropes and anchors and wheels and kitchenette etc. Worth every penny.

We're in London for the Foo Fighters and I said to my wife let's go see the Cutty Sark, she had no idea what I was on about. So we went and she absolutely loved it and she thanked me immensely for taking her. It's a great experience for families and for young children to explore life on a ship. There's a character reenactment to watch and participating.
