Friendly host & family. Full of dogs, cats & chickens. Food was good with loads for dinner. Good selection of additional drinks, insect repellent etc. Definitely recommend this experience heading out of Chiang Mai to this accommodation. Lovely outdoor shower in the monsoon rain for us. Roosters are vocal in wee hours of the morning. Mattress was very hard. Keep all food sealed due to ants. Enjoy all the insects.
very good resort for kids to explore their fantasy land
This is truly a delightful place, with charming tree houses, near a trickling stream. At night, frogs and crickets come out, and provide a nice backdrop to the evening. Unfortunately, we only stayed one night and left early. The roosters they have roaming the grounds started crowing at about 3:30 am and wouldn't stop. Impossible to sleep. Kids grumpy and short tempered from lack of sleep. Wife grumpy too. If they built a chicken coop on the far side of their management building, this would have easily solved the problem. You can have a free range chicken farm, or you can have a comfortable guest experience, but not both... Would have had 5 stars otherwise. The place truly is charming.
I have mix feelings about this one. The place is great, the tree houses are cozy and we'll equipped. Our "host" Lucky was extremely sweet and helpful. I just wished there were more activities to do. There is the lake, the view point, the red sand, the caves... and that's it (all done with free provided bikes). We did all of that in less than a day. The second day we had no activities to do and the shuttle back "home" couldn't come fast enough. Maybe we missed something, maybe there is more to do and we just didn't know. It was a unforgettable experience non the less.
Cute and amazingly creative, the tree house cabins cater for all numbers of guests whether a couple or family. Our tree house had a queen bed downstairs, two single beds upstairs, then there was a separate little one-bed attic accessible via ladder from the upstairs balcony too! The staff give good service and the food is delicious!
We spent our fun fun time with our four kids. All of us are animal lovers so we very much enjoyed adorable cats, dogs and chicken as our company. I hope animal haters will never come this place because this place isn’t for selfish human. It is set in the forest so please pay respect to the nature.
