When I think of Las Vegas, I think of the Strip with its phony oppulance, but I take it in stride. It's fun after all. Fremont Street is a very different experience. It's grittier, cheesier, and generally far less expensive. For example, the Fremont offers $5 Craps tables where I feel far more comfortable gambling than I do at the Strip hotel where I am staying. If you want a sense of old Vegas and want your money to go further, this area is worth a trip.
I love this place. Old school casino that still provides classic "Vegas value". Lower limits and better odds than most of the strip. The center bar has $3 Coronas! Just a great place without the excess of most others.
One of the last places in town, that still feels like Vegas to me. Over the years, I've spent many, many hours in the back corner of Fremont by the cage playing Treasure chest VP. Everyone has a "Happy place" and this is mine. This place is always a good deal, with good games, fairly priced rooms and cheap eats. Having stayed here several times over the years, the rooms and bathrooms are small but with comfortable beds and are always clean and well maintained. I only hope Boyd doesn't do here, what they did over at the Cal. Don't change anything guys. Leave this one alone!
Clean room, quiet as well. Comfortable bed. The room looked exactly like the picture on the website. Nice workout room, pool access next door. And, right in the middle of the Fremont Experience! My only wish was that the room had a refrigerator.
Front desk was very kind and helpful. The rooms need some upkeep. For example, wallpaper was peeling, the bathtub paint was cracked and flaking. Just really worn down. I did enjoy my stay however. The room was cool, the bed was functional and the pillows were comfortable. I'd stay at the Fremont again.
Very Nice Hotel. Everyone was so helpful and very polite. Our room was clean. The carpet was tore in some places in our room. The pool was Beautiful with the Blue lights at night. We took a lyft everywhere we went and they pick you up right in the front entrance
Just stopped in for the buffet. Decent selection. Food looked and tasted fresh. Had a vegetable meatball soup that was way better than it should have been. Nice selection of sugar free desserts, but the soft serve sundae bar got me. There was some confusion regarding the buffet cost vs the "AYCE steak' deal they were running. All worked out in the end. Price was right and I would definitely return,
Eh, it was alright. It was relatively cheap & no resort fee.The room was tiny. It had one fabric chair for sitting. The seat cushion had liquid looking stains in the middle of it, I had no desire to sit in it. The bathroom was so small a regular tank toilet doesn't fit & one can not sit on the toilet with the bathroom door open. They advertise "free" wifi & it is down on the casino floor, a great signal actually. But, up in the hotel room it costs. They only have free valet parking, no self parking which I personally love. We've stayed at several of the hotels down in the Fremont district & love it down there but have yet to find one we want to return to.
The Fremont is one of my favorite casinos located in Downtown Vegas! Their little food court has the greatest breakfast deals (under $5) and they have $3 Coronas! The atmosphere is always great!!
First time staying here and its nice place. Rooms are a little tiny but the ac worked great. Casino was alot of fun. They have a variety of games to play. Not impressed with the waitress service. I'd recommend this hotel its nice and reasonable priced.
Good place in old strip. If you really want to feel Vegas, it's active and welcoming side, Fremont street is the place to be. They are way different than the new strip rich crowd, friendly, happy and full of fun. Fremont hotel, being right in the middle of old strip, is an ideal place to stay. But the whole street and the shops are done by midnight unlike the new strip.
This casino is very fun to play at. We spent most of our time at the bar because we had a very cool bartender who kept our drinks full. If you're looking for a casino that's very low key and with low minimums on bets I would recommend the Fremont. It seems like a lot of locals visit this casino and they have a lot of drink specials. I won quite a bit at the roulette table and my buddy did pretty good at the craps table. They have a really good buffet called The Paradise Buffet. Not pricey and also not the best buffet but for the money, it's worth it. They have all the favorites you want and the desserts are really good. So if you ever by downtown Vegas. I recommend you stop by the Fremont to get some good food, cheap drinks, and try to win some money.
