The Pillnitz Schloss has a tranquil and beautiful garden, which is worth taking a stroll when you are visiting Dresden, you take a 30min tram ride (no.2 from Dresden to end station) plus a ferry, and viola, you will find yourself in a green paradise.
It is a "must to see " place if you are in Dresden. Out in the sparkling light in which the Elbe dances stands this palace beautiful and strong .Awesome view and a pleasent experience .The Musuems are very good and engaging.
Beautiful places with garden. It was wintertime, so there are closed. Pity actually. Would love to visit again in Summer. It would be so beautiful I believe.
I am visiting this place every year during the season when camellias are blooming. Their main camellia tree is probably one of the oldest ones in Europe being arouns 230 years old.
I was there in Februar, so it wasn't that much enjoyable. It will be nice place in summer and spring. The nature and the building would be so interesting
Very nice view, river side palace. If you want to have a best experience of this place, I recommend to come in may-june. The garden looks awesome that time, lot of flowers and incredible look you can't ignore.
We came by boat: interesting. This is a never-sleeping castle. A lot of exibitions to visit. You'll be captured by many interesting details in the Chinese building and its wonderful colours. Maybe in August, it is too much crowded. Check the day and the time very well. By the way, the wide gardens, the big old trees, the 18th's Imperial Boat model and the museums help you to live an enchanted day.
