Beautiful grounds. A dead cert for sure
This is the most amazing and beautiful cemetery I have ever visited. It's full of so much history. Our tour guide John Scanlon was the best tour guide we have ever had. His knowledge seemed endless and he had a great sense of humor.
A very underrated tour location. Best value tour in Dublin. I think it was 3 hours. Guide knows what she's talking about. Very interesting, a must see. Only place you get to say that you touched The Liberator's coffin! So many and unexpected famous plots
I visited the Cemetery today with three friends. We did the tour, which was most interesting and entertaining. Our guide was Niall and we would like to thank him and highly recommend him as a tour guide. The Museum was very interesting and informative. We had lunch in the Restaurant and would like to thank the people who run it - the food and service were excellent. Overall we had a wonderful few hours, but must say the only sour note to the day was the cost of the car park, which we all thought was outrageous. I paid €10.00 for having parked for almost four and a half hours and my friends, who arrived later than I, paid the same amount.
The weather was cold, rainy and windy, yet this was my favorite experience in the city. My family and I visited the museum in addition to taking the guided tour. Both were phenomenal. The museum told the history of Ireland, the cemetery and world religions. The exhibits were packed with information and presented in way that was engaging to all visitors. The guided tour brought the history of Dublin to life with colorful stories and personal anecdotes. Photographers and lovers of Celtic architecture can enjoy the site free of charge, but the cost of the tour and museum add so much more to any visit. An added bonus: the food in the cafe was exceptional which is a rarity for museums.
New museum's. Its A grateful place to be.never tot id be saying that about A cemetery. But ther you Go.......👍😉😉✌✌
Loved the tour and the re-enactment! The tour really made it worth the money and was an afternoon well spent. The museum was smaller than I expected and it was just alright. The grounds of the cemetery are beautiful though and I would recommend visiting!
Very informative tour of some of the greats of Ireland over many centuries. You get to see the O'Connell family crypt!! Well worth a visit, and Chris is a particularly informative guide. Don't miss this :-).
Absolutely loved this place. Took the historical tour. I can't recommend it enough!
Brilliant place to learn about not only the history of the graveyard, but also the history of Dublin.
