Had such fun here .. with my two girls... the guide was brillant .. he told the story extremely well... but would have loved to see loftus hall restored a bit more...
I went here today with the family it was a great experience. I learned more history about the place & it did feel airy in it. Kids loved it & Dylan the tour guide was abouslote brilliant. Only down fall to it is I would of liked to of seen more of the building, didn't see upstairs & not every room down stairs so hopefully next visit more rooms will be restored!
Tour was a lot of fun and my kids really enjoyed it. Dylan, the tour guide, did a great job. I hope more of the building is restored on our next visit.
Went on the tour. Fantastic home with a twisted and old history. A must stop. Wish that the upper floors would be safe enough to see as well.
Excellent experience. Beautiful house. The staff really care about the place and it shows in what they do. Aidan the owner is a great guy and his knowledge of the history of the place is fantastic. I urge everyone to pay a visit and do the tour!
Absolutely loved this place went there for Halloween event which was prepared in theatrical style with great narration and few surprises along the way. Kids loved it, we loved it and you will love it too. Only downside is a shame that such a great building is in such a terrible condition. Hopefully it will be fully restored at some stage
Went on an overnight here. It was all a bit innocent but the atmosphere was unlike anything I've ever experienced, with a couple of particular moments. I wouldn't be into spooky feelings but you could feel the history in the building. Absolutely fantastic place. Would recommend to anyone with an interest in architecture, history or even spooky going ons.
Great tour guide really added tension to the story and very knowledgeable on the hall itself.
Entertaining, not scary. A bit pricy for the amount of the house you see. I know they are raising funds to renovate more of the house, it was a bit underwhelming though...after a 3 hour drive.
Very enjoyable family friendly spooky tour. Lovely building very historic. Apparently one of the most haunted places in Ireland.
Though I found the tour was over really quickly and didn't exactly give me that trill I was seeking it was a great road trip down, and great to see the castle itself! Tour guides do a great job, definitely worth the experience! But I did want more... then what I got!
Worth a visit, super spooky place with some tall story’s. Nice cafe, great facilities and parking onsite. Well with a visit if you’re travelling around the the ring of hook 👍🏻
