It's a great place for anyone who likes the world of aqua - water activities, dolphin shows, aquarium, etc.! Kids will thoroughly enjoy it but it's a learning for everyone! Dolphin show is great though it is a shorter session than what it was a few years ago. The aquarium is a wonderful experience with big tanks and windows / views and lots to learn about aquaculture and aquamarine. However, signboards are not very clear at few places and the set up of the place can be improved considering that they collect quite a bit of money at the entrance! Service seems a bit slow from everyone (at entrance to marine world, at restaurants, etc.) in general.

The ocean walker is a must do. I had the best experience under water with my action camera and I just wanted to stay there forever. Wet and wild was great but required too much exercise going up the stairs for every slide. X panda shark dive on the other hand is scary and is only for the super brave. A lunch at the cargo hold was amazing as the fish were maneuvering around the tank. All in all, this is an amazing place to relax and live life to the fullest

I love the place, my family and I had a great time here. The dolphin show is 10000% awesome. We went to see the dolphins and I forgot my twin girls bag at the aquarium, when I noticed that that bag was gone, I went back and the people working in the aquarium helped me look for the bag till I found it by the shark section, the folk celebrated as if it was their bag we found. With the above being said, I really must commend the staff of uShaka

Good food great place. Money well spent. Something for everyone and plenty to do. There is a village walk mall with clothing stalls and restaurants. It has a lovely theme and good vibe. Wish their live shows could be less noisier. We couldn't hear each other or even place an order to eat. It's clean neat and safe. There are many activities for young and old and so enjoyable

Ushaka is a great place to take kids of any age as long as you prepare to buy all your food and drink inside and keep a close eye on you family. We have been here 3 times in the last 13 years and enjoyed it every time. They have a policy that you are not allowed to bring in any food or drink whatsoever. This combined with the fact that the "lifeguards" pay no attention at all to anyone on the slides, rides or in the pool. They are either on their phones or busy chatting with each other. I watched a kid come down a slide and get sucked underwater. The next person down he slide ended up getting to them before I could. The "lifeguards" didn't notice at all as they were chatting to each other. Be safe and you will have a good time.

Always enjoy going to uShaka. The shows are wonderful and the slides and pool area are fantastic. The peer is very nice for a romantic stroll and the gondola rides are very lovely. The aquarium is my favourite part, the fish are well kept and beautifully displayed. The snorkelling and other animal encounters are life changing experiences. The restaurants have friendly staff and good food.

Very fun place to take the kids and family. Lot's of shops , eat outs, wet and wild. And all the sea world animals. Nice to walk along the golden mile, safe and secure. Lots to do. Enjoy!

What's there to say about Ushaka that hasn't been said? If you love water, swimming, slides, fish and fun, this is the place to go to. There are lifeguards visible everywhere and a designated kiddies swim section. For the adults who are kids at heart, I recommend going during a school day to avoid long queues. The aquarium is also great with a diverse variety of fish.

uShaka is always a wonderful experience. I always enjoy being there. There's so much to do. There's an activity for everyone. Plus it's right on the beach - pure joy! A treat.

Animals shows great family fun and teaching. And facilities are good and well serviced. Only issue is the food and beverage staff and quality. I get parks being strict on food and high than normal prices. But then at least have the decency to have efficient and polite service for the customers paying higher than normal pricing. Little to no common sense and effectiveness in this area

Awesome destination. This place will keep the family busy for days. There is ample shops and restaurants. Then you have the slides and swimming area for young and old. The aquarium is amazing with allot of amazing species to view and great stories. You have the beach front connected to the golden mile. There's Moyos restaurant where you can walk out a 100m into the sea with amazing views, drink some cocktails or eat a burger. This is the place to visit in Durban. Have fun and be safe.

Great place for everyone in the family. Variety of water slides in the water park. Exciting creatures in the aquarium. Great variety of restaurants to eat at and many stores for tourists. Bathroom facilities available to wash up after water activities. In summer (weekends and holidays) it gets very busy so it's advisable to visit this place during the week when it's quieter to avoid long queues. But overall, one of my favourite places in Durban

Greatest place to have absolute pleasure and fun all day long! The Animal shows are an excellent learning experience for the whole FAMILY. The beaches are clean with white sand and blue seas. The restaurants serve great food and the whole atmosphere is one of a kind. I would recommend this place to EVERYONE

uShaka Marine World has many curio shops and restaurants/food stalls to choose from. The shark feedings are on Sundays at 14:30, but many other feedings, shows and experiences take place at various times over the weekend. There's something here for the whole family! A strong nautical theme is seen throughout the park. uShaka is definitely a must see destination during a trip to the Durban coast. Bring extra spending cash and a bathing suit for the water park.
