Hall Hill Farm is a tourist attraction located in County Durham, near Tow Law, England.
Ann Darlington is the current tourism manager at Hall Hill Farm. Her grandparents came to the farm in 1925, and now her brother David Gibson runs the working farm. Hall Hill Farm opened to the public in 1981 after Ann and David's father, Jack Gibson, suggested allowing the public to see the farm's lambs, following an interest over that Easter period.
Visited today for my 4 year old son's birthday as he's very much into tractors and animals at the moment. Have visited many times before as well. It's reasonably priced by farm standards, about £7 each, although there are family tickets available. In terms of facilities there are obviously lots of animals including cows, pigs, sheep, goats, alpacas and probably more. There is also a play barn with soft play and ride on tractors and an outdoor playground and a bouncy pillow. Included in the entry is the tractor ride as well and there's a water warfare game which involves firing water bombs at each other which is good fun if not wet. Finally there is also a puppet show and chicks, rabbits and guinea pigs to hold. The cafe is reasonable as well, about £1.80 for a coffee and £3 for a sausage sandwich. Overall it's a good place to visit.

Just visited Hall Hill farm and had a brilliant time, excellent for all ages. Only cost £27 for 2 adults and 2 children (booked online) cafe is reasonably priced too. Animals really well looked after which is what you want to see.

Amazing staff, so friendly and patient. Lovely atmosphere, good selection of animals to pet and hold. Indoor play area was a bonus and we loved the crazy golf. Very reasonable prices. Fantastic day out!

What a great day out. Incredibly friendly, great for the kids, good facilities and the tractor snake thing is great fun, even for adults...if you can fit. Good indoor eating area for picnics and plenty of cover when the weather is bad. Take wellies. An inexpensive day out that is great for a family.

There's plenty to see and do at Hall Hill Farm - animals to pet and feed, donkey and tractor rides, indoor and outdoor play areas. There is a cafe and a gift shop. It can get busy around lunchtime - allow yourself several hours for your visit. Although a lot of things are indoors it was very muddy today, just walking from one area to another. Wellies are definitely recommended at this time of year. It's a really good day out, but like a lot of places it's not cheap

Had a wonderful day-out before the bank holiday rush! Weekdays are far more quiet. Lovely staff & lovely animals. Great facilities allow 3 to 4 hours for animal petting, tea and cake, plus huge wooden castle for the kids to climb on. Will definitely return.

Great for kids to see and experience a whole range of farm animals. Staff are present when handling chicks, rabbits and Guinea pigs as well as feeding lambs. There are large play areas, indoor and outdoor. Toilets and baby changing facilities are clean and well maintained. Ample parking and easy to find.

What an absolutely amazing place. Such a great selection of animals to see, pet and feed, aswell as interaction and ride opportunities. Just excellent. Seasonal specials, like the lamb feeding, magical. Thanks to the team.

What a fantastic day out. We visited for a 4th birthday in the pouring rain. But there was so much to do and on offer that it didn't matter. Lambs to feed at this time of year. Rabbits and guinea pigs to stroke. A farm tour in a tractor trailer. A massive indoor soft play area. And an amazing outdoor play area we will visit in better weather. Had not been before, but will return again.

Lovely half day activity. Good playground and you can hold bunnies chicks and feed lambs. Lovely views

Absolutely love this place! Have booked it for my son's birthday so thought we'd check it out before hand. So much variety of things to do, we were busy the 5 hours we were there and could have stayed longer if my son hadn't been so tired. The staff were all friendly and attentive, especially Jamie!! Can't wait to come back in a couple months for his birthday!

Good outdoor play, good amount of animals to see and indoor play is great too. Lovely area to hold chicks. Food ok. Twice I've been and twice encountered a rude member of staff but otherwise it's quite a good day out for the kids. Lots to keep them entertained.

This is a great day out for children of all ages. We went to a party here and it was really well organised with a designated member of staff taking the children around the farm. They were able to feed all sorts of animals, hold and pet rabbits and guinea pigs and go on a tractor ride around the farm. Lunch was in the party barn and then the whole family could stay and play for the rest of the day. There is a huge play area with picnic benches around it and a cafe indoors.

Went with the school on a trip. Will come again, without so many children! Lovely place, interesting and fun for kids of all ages! The new 'climbing' area is the best around!
