Dezember 2007).

Very chill and relaxing park in the far north of the city. I suggest visiting it in spring, when the flowers bloom and you can appreciate it in all of its splendour. It has some interesting attractions in it, such as the Aquazoo, the Japanese Garden and the Botanical Garden. The Japanese Garden is a really fascinating gift from the Japanese community of the city and it's extremely pretty, with a large pond, statues and blossoming trees.

Nice for grown ups and older kids. For a four year old, the attention span was not too long. I would expect more interractive stuff to do. Better flow and explanation/decoration of the different worlds.

I went with my 12 year old son hoping that there will be a play area for this age group but unfortunately there was only play area for smaller children. Park itself is a good place for a walk.

Great spot to calm down and relax. Also great for photoshoots. So expect to see many photographers and models around the place.

Great place to walk and play with kids. Locals also usually come here to walk their pets or simply relax by the Japanese garden. There is also the Aquazoo nearby which houses an amazing collection of different animals from around the world.

Really nice location, especially when it's warm enough to sit outside under the trees with birds singing all around you. If you have kids, they can play on the playground while you have coffee or whatever. Very nice. The food isn't particularly sophisticated, but hey, if you're in the mood for chips and a schnitzel then it's FINE. Biggest drawback: closes at 19:00 on weekdays. That makes no sense to me.

For short or long walk. For relax with a book in a chair under the trees. For sport. Do not hesitate - just go to the Nordpark of Düsseldorf.

One of the best parks in Düsseldorf. AquaZoo is there, nice playground and the lovely Japanese park

It is when you visit somewhere like this in Germany that you realise why the country is such a service and tourism desert! It was first laid out under the Nazis, and as such it is really quite a mature park with some lovely mature trees. There the positive feeling ends! It obviously makes little or no money for the city of Düsseldorf so presumably has very little resources allocated to it . There are landscaped areas with with flower beds but these look shabby and poorly tended, and are all weed infested and stone walkways are a deathtrap to the mainly less agile visitors. Everything here looks run-down in sharp contrast to the flashy modernity of the more commercially important Trade Fairground just across the road!

Nice park, would visit if near by. Slighy run down but still makes a nice walk. Wouldn't go miles out of my way for it but if your passion for bye it's worth checking out. Lots of guarden and park.

Big and nice park. Must visit if you like parks. The Japanese garden is beautiful.

Pretty big park. A little more investment needed but otherwise a nice place for walking on a sunny day.

Nicely maintained garden. Adjacent field for playing cricket is a plus point.
