Nice-looking palace surrounded by a beautiful park and pond that still make for good photos at night. The palace tour makes the place seem not only much larger, but more "historical" beyond what the pink walls and trim grounds suggest. The guide we had was fun, knowledgeable, and efficient. This is also a good place for a morning run. The older building is now a ballet school! Too bad they don't offer adult classes.

Beautiful small Victorian residence with gorgeous gardens. Very nice for a stroll in the sun or even in the night while it is snowing. Reminds a bit of a "Sleepy Hollow" atmosphere when you stroll through the night, with the snowflakes falling and the wind blowing through the trees. Loved it!

A great place for tourist and also for local people. You can visit the gardrns or the museums or just walk in the very beautiful park with a small botanical garden. There is s beautiful lake on the north side of Schools Benrsth. On the south the park ends at the bank of Rhein river. But this is not all - there are few small lakes inside the garden and the park, forming beautiful water mirrors.

Unfortunately the palace was closed when we visited on New Year's Eve. It was still nice to stroll in the park though. There are lots of beautiful swans and ducks in the pond.

Very beautiful palace with a little lake and big Green park, with walking distance to Rhine river. And can get there by train or tram from Dusseldorf city center with 15-30 minutes.

If case my fotos don't transmit a fair picture, I want to add: this is one place what it's worth visiting in every season! Being close to nature brings one back to finding inner peace. Spring and Fall however offer more colours... It is a beautiful place what offers pleasures to eyes, body and soul. Don't hesitate, simply take a visit :)

So so. We couldn’t go inside since it was Reeves for a wedding. But from outside it looked like a mildly decorated building. Not much detail. The grounds are vast and plenty of places to stroll through.

One of the beautiful places in Düsseldorf. The area which is located also a unique combination,because it situated near riverbanks of Rhein. It has a tremendous park surrounded by the Castle and there are public transport facilities to reach there

NICE green and beautiful part of Dusseldorf to walk around. Surrounded by Big garden and water. Last week there was a musical concert and fireworks when I took some photos. It's very calm and beautiful place in all weathers

Beautiful Palace and gardens. Unfortunately could not see inside as the main Palace was closed for a wedding. Museums were open. Do check suitable timings before visiting as they allow visitors only with guided tours which take place just once a day in German and English both. Fairly steep entrant e fees

Nice area to walk around. There is a park and river outside of the castle. Jogging in this area is the best since you don't need to worry about any cars driving around.

Visited early morning in August . Lots of greenery, water bodies and walking tracks . Very peaceful and serene place . Very well maintained . After all it's Deutschland !
