The Scottish Vintage Bus Museum is a transport museum in Lathalmond, 2.5 miles north of Dunfermline, Fife. The museum is open every Sunday between Easter and the start of October.
The museum was established in 1986 in Whitburn, West Lothian, before moving to its current location at Lathalmond, formerly part of the Royal Navy Stores Depot, in 1995. The museum owns half of the site at Lathalmond which is around 45 acres.

I was amazed to stumble across this museum, while attending the vintage car show. I didn't even know it was there, and I live in Dunfermline. Loved to see the old buses and history that went with each bus. May be let us on the buses to fully experience then in all their glory. Have to say, the cups of tea we had, were, well, not the best. But the sandwich was ok.

A remote museum I have visited by far as it takes you more than a hour from Edinburgh to Dunfermline, and only taxi is accessible during Sundays for public transport users. But the experience is truly stunning – buses from each era are well preserved and under restoration. Hourly tour with vintage buses will guide us to closed areas, like garage and paint workshop. Liked the China Motor Bus serviced in Hong Kong the most, the only exhibit from far east.

It's an excellent place to visit . If you like old vintage buses there's plenty of them for you to see and bring back memories of when buses were buses and not shoe boxes on wheels. Great for families with kids too and dogs are welcome and your dog can go on the buses. Bus rides into Dunfermline, saline you can go on and catch another back all day long. Tea shop. Stalls selling model buses. It's a great day out. The guys who run it vaulunter and are friendly and helpful. I'd go if you can to the opening days.

If you like busses this is the place to visit. Over 200 busses on view. Only opens on Sunday but you get to tide a vintage bus to tour the massive site. Arrive early as it taked a full afternoon to see the collection.

Wowh what an awesome place for a day out especially if you like vintage buses. They are well kept and still work. Small friendly cafe within building but it's cold inside so advise wrapping up. Small but packed gift shop.

Very interesting despite being located in an area that looks more like a landfill site
