Beautiful place but prefer to expend my limited money in the entrance for the national park, unfortunately. You can take a brief at the entrance. Worth if you have spare time.
Wonderful place for bird watching. Just a shame that sometimes the wild dogs intrude the protected area and disturb the birds.
Peaceful place for birdwatching and chilling. Late summer sees the water level rise preventing you from making a full circuit of the lagoon or reaching the hides.
Nice staff. Enjoy a coffee there and do the hike
Excellent for birds. Very well laid out with good access.
beautiful, but costs 200 pesos just to walk around the lake... so we just sat down by the road and enjoyed the view. If you go on Sunday it's cheaper.
10$ for some great bird watching. Best time is on a sunny day about 18 — 1900 hrs when sun is low. Go backwards on the patch to have the sin behind u. Don't litter, stay on the path. Watch out for the hawks, they fly low to protect the young.
One of the few sights to see within walking distance of the center of town, probably about a fifteen minute walk. While the lagoon is quite beautiful, I don't think it's really worth the 200 pesos to enter. There's not much information listed around the reserve and the whole walk takes probably about an hour.
