Bring socks and be prepared to remove your shoes when you enter the mosque. Tour groups are scheduled between the prayer hours. Tickets and guides are found at the front of the complex. Guides are assigned to each group based on your preferred language. Stunning mosque built at the ocean with retractable cedar roof and titanium doors to resist corrosion.

This is an absolutely beautiful Mosque, it is also one of the few in the world that allows people of other religions to visit. The detailing is incredible, everywhere is absolutely beautiful. The tour is done is many languages, it's actually set up quite well, they will funnel people down and separate by language and when there is enough people you are taken off by a guide. I felt it was more than worth the fee and would go again. I'd love to see the roof open as it must be an impressive sight.

A modern day marvel. Awe inspiring. One can not help but feel spiritual in this beautiful mosque regardless of what belief you follow. A must see when in Casablanca.

Closed between 10 am and 2 pm for prayer. No ticket office no information no signs and description about the place. Poorly managed. The building and design is impressive. You will spend two hours in there easily. No parking so had to park on the side streets and walk back. Can also see Atlantic ocean while you are there.

This was the reason I came to visit Casablanca and was not dissapponted. The mosque is built on a vast area of land and the detail that went into building it alone is something worth appreciating. A really popular spot with the tourists of all races and allows people of other religion to fully experience there time here. The section to the back of the mosque toward the ocean was closed of so didn't get a chance to see that but otherwise this is one place you don't waan miss when in Morocco.

This is a wonderful place to visit and a must see in Casablanca. It has such history and also has a museum that you can visit too. They do tours and be prepared to take your shoes off as this is still an active religious place of worship. Place be respectful when around the masjid and environment and make the most of the beautiful architecture and surrounding area.

Beautifully crafted detail in the cedar wood ceilings and mezzanine floor. The marble and granite is all locally sourced. It is well worth getting a guided tour around. Tours are given in many languages.

What can I say,as a lover of architecture,i was more than marveled to finally set my eyes on this piece of awe.The idea of building it into the sea is captivating.its huge tower definitely rules the Casablanca skyline.You definitely have to see this Awesome Mosque when in Casablanca.Five hard earned stars,Would have given six if the option was there!

Compared to the rest of Morocco there are few attractions to see in Casablanca, but a must is a visit to the Hassan II Mosque. The Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca was completed in 1993 after great expense and artistic labor, and the result is one of the largest and most beautiful mosques in the world. The mosque is open to all Muslims at daily prayer times and for special Friday services. Non-Muslim visitors may enter the mosque on guided tours, which take place several times a day in English. One of the most distinctive features of the mosque, which has been built on an outcrop and reclaimed land, is that almost half of the surface of the mosque lies over the Atlantic Ocean.

Impressive mosque. One of the most beautiful in the world. The architecture and the interior is very beautiful with a sliding roof and venetian chandeliers. Would definitely recommend visiting it. The museum is not a must if you do not have enough time, but the mosque is definitely worth visiting with a guide.

I think I'd be more impressed with the building itself had I not gone to Istanbul and seen the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia. I think the location right on the Mediterranean Sea makes it seem more impressive than it is. Was invited in by someone. Wasn't sure if I was supposed to go in but I did.

It’s so huge to take a whole picture near it! It’s beautiful and breathtaking building in this modern city in North Africa! If you are not muslins, you can’t get into the building. But outside is so nice to take any kind of pictures, but remember be polite. Here is a holy religion place!
