Elie Golf Club, also known as Earlsferry Links Golf Course, is a coastal links golf club in Elie and Earlsferry, Fife, Scotland. Only about ten miles from the "spiritual home of golf" at The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews, golf has been played here since at least 1589, when a royal charter was passed granting villagers permission to use the links. The formal club, the Elie and Earlsferry Golf Club, dates to 1832 and is one of the oldest golf clubs in the United Kingdom.

It was hard work, my first time there, greens very fast and no flat bits on them very difficult. Enjoyed my game hope to do better if I get another chance
If you are looking for a genuine traditional links golf experience then this is it. An amazing course and great hospitality in clubhouse. From the former submarine periscope at the 1st through the the zero flat fairway on 18th it is a links lovers delight.
Wonderful old golf club with great views and true links course. Very nice staff, but be warned to adhere to strict etiquette rules in the clubhouse (ladies/gents/guests separated, strict dress code, etc). Not cheap, but worth the money. Less of an 'Americans amusement park' compared to Crail.
Always on my list to play when in Fife. This and Crail are gems
What a golf course.. even in the wind it was fun to play.
Nice course was refused entry to club house to use toilet. Very strange considering I had paid to play the course
Visited here as part of a society outing at the beginning of March. Course was in great condition. We were blessed with a beautiful day.Clubhouse staff and starter very friendly and welcoming.Periscope at first tee is an interesting curio.Great views across the Firth of Forth and some memorable holes particularly the Thirteenth.Clubhouse very comfortable and newly refurbished. All in all highly recommended.
Lovely course and a good test of golf in a beautiful setting. Facilities and club house very nice with wonderful staff and nice pub grub choices. 28 of us played and every one of us enjoyed it despite the biting wind and cold.
