You must go into these caves. They are good. You must then come back out or you will die. It is dark, except when the lights are on. The lights are always on. Apart from when they turn them off momentarily. Alan was a good tour guide, despite the cold. THIS IS NOT A MUSEUM. They made that very clear!

Had a great day here with friends. Our tour guide (Amy) was knowledgeable and fun. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Parking on-site cost £2. Restaurant was good with average prices.

One of my favourite places in Torquay. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable, friendly, passionate and enthusiastic about her job, I must also mention that she was fantastic with the kids. Such an interesting place and well worth the money - a must if you're in Torquay!

We had a wonderful time at the caves on Sunday. 3 generations plus friends to see Santa. The tour was magic, the staff were helpful and jolly and the food was excellent [never expected such a lunch from a attraction like this!! Would be great for a special meal occasion] Thank you all again for a great day and the reindeer food! :]

As a former Torbay resident, after about 25 years this was my first visit to Kents Cavern - it was a shame I hadn't seen it sooner! The caves have a fascinating story behind them and there is plenty to see and do for all ages. Our guide for the tour Michael was very thorough and entertaining to the mixed group we had, giving us lots of interesting facts and jokes along the way. Although I did not visit the restaurant it was clean and there appeared to be a good range of reasonably priced food and drink. 1 star is knocked off as parking is payable and the toilets appeared to be in need of an upgrade. Overall a very enjoyable visit and somewhere I'd recommend for all ages.

Cafe has a good selection of food as expected. The tour was great the guide interacted well with the young children well but also catered for the adults mid 20's to 70's. Good for all ages

The caves are amazing! Tours are very interesting & the guides cater for all ages. The new Firestone kitchen looks fantastic & the food is lovely! The gift shop has some great things too. Don't forget to go down to the woodland area too!

Great family experience. I have been visiting this attraction for over 20 years. They always gave updated information and finds a great interactive experience. Cafe is reasonable and very comfortable. The wildlife walk needs a bit of work but has potential. Will continue to go in the future.

Wonderful one hour tour. Carry a jacket, its 14°C 24*7*365. Recommend it. Puts our time on earth into perspective.

Great experience with friendly and accommodating staff. The caves are incredible and the additional included activities are included in the price making it great value for money. The caves are perhaps not suited for really young kids as there's a lot of standing still and the sign posting to the woodland trail could be improved as we weren't the only group who took the wrong turn and ended up in a residential area. The restaurant food was amazing, not cheap, but very well made and delicious! Well worth the visit and ticket price!

We were on the last tour of the day (4pm), our guides David and Sarah were really informative, engaging and friendly. The caverns aren't that extensive but it takes about an hour to complete the tour as a result of the amount of history and Information to be absorbed. The floor is smooth and not challenging. Whilst there are a few steps in the cavern itself it's largely accessed by gentle ramps. The attached cafe and gift shop are nice too but all in all it's not somewhere you can really spend more than a couple of hours.

Loved the tour. interesting caves. nice cafe on site. however it's a small building and car park very small so ended up quite far down the road on street parking. so pick your day and timing well. If it wasn't for the parking would have given it 5 stars.

Quite an informative trip with some reasonably interesting stalactite etc formations. People accommodating and friendly. A lot of the trip underground was standing and listening, hence not so good for hip and back sufferers Coffee was poor. You need to work on that guys!

Amazing place with amazing guides the guide we had was Alfie he had so much time for me and my family. He had an amazing personality and knowledge of the caves. The caves are beautiful and the story's and theorys behind them are spectacular. It's a place you must visit to get the full experience .Was an amazing day out for us.

Fascinating insight into the past through these historic caves. A guided tour through the underground caverns of about an hour, with insight into how they were formed, rediscovered as well as tales of who once lived there. A few slopes and low roofs, but pretty easy to walk for young and old. A steady temperature of 14c so you might need a jumper. A good way of passing the morning or afternoon for anyone on holiday in the Torbay area. Also a woodland adventure walk outside, which is more challenging for those with mobility issues or if you have a pushchair as quite steep and some steps. A nice little cafe inside serving a range of food and drink, plus the customary shop with all the paraphernalia you'd expect from a museum type shop. Definitely worth a visit.
