Lovely to see the stages of growth of a pineapple. Shop is quite expensive compared to the same products in local shops. I had the experience of not so friendly personel, unfortunately.
Very interesting experience. You can look in to greenhouse and learn something about pineapple growing. In the farm there is a small shop with pineapple products where you can taste pineapple liqueur.
Kind of neat to see, but not much to see lol. Gift shop is cool but very pricey. Def check it out if you don't have anything else going on!
A cute and quick stop to view growing pineapples! Also an adorable gift shop with *delicious* pineapple liquor to sample. I just wish they had more details on what the growth stages of the pineapple were as well as what exactly we were seeing in each of the greenhouses. That would make the visit truly interesting and informative/interactive instead of just a look at pineapples. (Which I do love)
It is nice place to visit and to assure yourself that pineapples really grows up on ground and not on trees. :) There are more then 10 greenhouses with different growth stages of pineapples. Don't forget to go to shop near entrance to taste some of pineapple liqueur and to buy if you want some more. Free entrance.
Was smaller than I've imagined, but very nice - you get just enough info about the process of growing them. The gift shop was great! Visit if you have 30 minutes free :)
Unbelievably boring. Completely a waste of time. Don't bother. If you're desperate for the sort of thing wait to go to Queensland and you can see the big pineapple.
A really cool place to visit if you've not seen pineapple production before. It's amazing to see the pineapples at different stages of growth and to find out about the process from people working there. There's a lovely shop with their homemade pineapple products as well as locally made gifts and clothes. The pineapple jam and pineapple cupcakes are delicious!
Had a great visit at the pineapple plantation farm. Parking is free and there was no admission fee. Was hoping to buy a fresh pineapple but they didn't have any available. Either way it's a neat place to check out around PD.
Interesting short stop. Spent about 10 minutes here. It's not an all day event so it's a good place to visit if you're close. The gift shop has a nice selection of items but the prices were a little high.
