I was only on top terrace bar as the Forte itself was closed at the time I've arrived. The view was astonishing. Watching a sunset over the Firenze on that warm summer evening was one of those magical moments. It was accompanied by the glass of excellent biancco (reasonably priced at 7 EUR a glass). Staff was friendly, outside seats were still about half free (how is this possible! In a middle of a season, with views like this!) and, additionally, you could always take the wine and seat by the barriers to view the astounding Florence panorama from a bit closer perspective. I think this evening was one of the highlights of my whole trip to Italy.

A gentle experience. Forte Di Belvedere hosts a different modern art exhibition each year, however it's the location (a superb view over Florence and the surrounding countryside) and a reasonably priced cafe/bar where you can relax and while away several hours. It's cost €3 but worth it.

Good views over the city, but not much else to see: the "fort" itself has little to offer. There appear to be exhibitions of modern art, if you are into that. Recommend going to the top floor and getting panorama pictures of the city and the parklands south of the river. Plenty of friendly staff around who will happily help you navigate the parklands.

For me the best view of Florence nothing to see really interesting inside just a couple artist show their arts but the view but is incredible. The bar could be better specially in serving people seen likes they don't care about visitors in my opinion they should do things better to attract more.

Nice view but the Blackshirts on patrol made it a rather tense experience as they shouted at you for arbitrary rule infractions (like putting a bottle of water down while taking a photo, or removing your shoes when sitting in 37 degree heat trying to relax). The exhibition and the building were not very interesting either. And the food was overpriced for a bland sandwich. At least it was only 3€ entrance fee!
