My dog and I LOVE this huge park - mixture of pathways, lawn, woodland. There are also 2 children's play areas, one at each end of Bourne Park. Great to visit in any weather. One small moan: the car park just beyond the railway bridge (entrance nearest the garden centre) often floods during or after heavy rain - so good idea to wear waterproof boots!

Great Park, I walk with my disabled friend and our dogs. Mostly flat, so ideal.

Nice park but long walk from big car park. Same with most parks just need to watch out for dog poo. Toilets need cleaning but one of the better parks in Ipswich.

Excellent place to visit any time of the year. Lots of open spaces for children and dogs to run around in. Various climbing frames etc for the children plus a zip wire and paddling pool. Fine views across to the Orwell Bridge and surrounding countryside from many vantage points. Also a variety of trees and wildlife. Best of all, it's free. Can't be bad.

Bourne park is so lovely I played on there as a kid. You can walk your dogs or just go for walks. There's a lovely play area and the large paddling pool as been refurbished lovely for the children take a picnic as no food or drink available. The ice cream van turned up in the afternoon

Loved the open space, trees, shrubs, grass. Children's play area and paddling pool excellent. Picnic seating area. Also rope climbing area and slides, and a zip line. Toilets need the attention of refurbishment but I expect that is in future plans. Nice formal gardens too.

Lovely paddling pool and play area. Be careful though, little ones need close supervision :-)
