Fabulous afternoon spent at the high ropes with the family this afternoon. Fantastic course and instructors. Brilliant with the children. Can't recommend highly enough! Thanks again Daryl and David.
As a regular visitor to the Nevis Range, a gross all 4 seasons, I never fail to find something to keep me amused. The facilities, year round, are accessible and reasonably priced. It is however an incredibly popular destination for mountain sports enthusiasts at all times, so I would always recommend, GET THERE EARLY!!!
Great place to go. When you get the gondola up the mountain there are two trails to walk either a 40min or a 50mins walk. Great views. Also a restaurant/ cafe is a nice place to have a drink and a cake before setting back off down the mountain
Awesome place to visit in Scotland. You can go up by cable car. Great views from top. Nice cafe. Be careful with car navigator as it led us to other side Nevis range. You can get more details about hiking trails at Information centre.
It was foggy during my sole trip (couldn't see Ben Nevis). Apparently there are some great views up there. It is relatively cooler up there (duh) so take some protective clothing. Decent trails for walking around. Informative presentations at the top but limited dining choices at the top especially for those with dietary constraints limit the time that can spent there.
A round trip gondola ticket was £16 in April 2018. The ride takes about 10 minutes each way. At the top (at around 2000 ft), there is a restaurant, small shop and toilets. From the top station, a couple of rocky paths lead out in opposite directions. These provide great views (weather permitting) down towards Fort William and beyond to the west. Be aware that weather conditions can change rapidly, so wear appropriate clothing. For non-skiers like us, you can spend a couple of hours up there, walking around and enjoying some refreshments.
Beautiful, and fantastic for mountain bikers. Top chief is a brilliant black run fed by a gondola. Sure it’s just as good in winter. Home to the UCI downhill World Cup, which is a great watch. If you’re riding, wear a full face helmet and some guards.
Excellent day out. Great facilities and stunning views. Great fun. Enjoyed the ski slopes and the climbing course at the car park
Amazing place to ski. We were lucky and had great snow. The ski instructors were really kind and helpful to our six year old. The runs were challenging and the ski lifts really well kept. All in all a brilliant holiday. The day we co uldnt ski because of high winds they refunded the ski pass and ski hire.
Biking, skiing, walking, running or anything you want. Beautiful forests. Loads of variety of trails for all sorts of purposes. Good cafe and gondola up the mountain for various activities. My favourite place in fw.
Pleasantly surprised at how much piste there was to go at. Wide range of complexity so caters for all needs. Plenty to occupy you for a weekend. Equipment hire takes about an hour so arrive early if renting. Snow goose mountain restaurant is good and well priced. There is a mix of lift types chair, button and t- bar; the key ones are t-bars with friendly and helpful staff to keep you moving
Fantastic skiing here, they had the groomers out all day to ensure the pistes were in top condition. I was pleasantly surprised with the extent ski area, although I think it would get repetitive if you were there for more than a weekend. We went to the snack bar and main restaurant and were impressed with both the prices and quality. Sausage roll, chips and beans was £6.
