One of my favourite places in Galway to visit. Last medieval style cathedral to be built in Europe. Lots of things to view and enjoy inside
One of the biggest Cathedral in Ireland and one of the worthy spot in this quiet college city. The stone church with colorful glass sitting at the river provides a very nice camera manic spot.
What an exquisite cathedral. It is very modern and very much worth a visit. It also has a beautiful organ that is a joy to hear. I believe a former Cardinal of the Boston diocese was influential in its being built.
Peaceful place. Place for everyone to spend time with their thoughts and prayers.
Wonderful building, and I’ve been for some excellent services here.
Beautiful inside. Take time out to visit, admire, sit quietly and gather your thoughts
This cathedral was renewed and refurbished 3 years ago, and you can notice it. Very big, very bright, everything brings you the opportunity to pray inside it. To follow masses they have books too, very interesting for foreign people
Love this church. Outside and inside, it is both inspiring and uplifting. The stain glass windows are awesome, especially the holy family one in the east chapel. Check out the crucifixion mural and the Resurrection mural, featuring Padraig Pearse and JFK.
Calm and meditation kind of place... You will get peace of mind... Its great place inside and outside....
