Really well set up for tourism. Clean reception area with nice toilets and very friendly staff. Entrance is 50,000 per adult. Once inside there are regular maps and most paths are on loops so it's easy to navigate. It can be crowded at peak times so definitely recommend trying to go early to see the most. It's fun to walk around for an hour or two especially if you've not seen monkeys up close before. The brochure handed out on entry has some interesting detail about the monkeys and temples.
What a cool experience 50k gets you in and you can easily spend 2 hours walking around here. The monkeys are everywhere. Over 700 in the park. They will climb on you and open your bags if given the opportunity, make sure not to bring food or drinks into the park. You will have an awesome time here if you remember that these monkeys are still wild animals and are not restrained to cages. They keep the monkey population here by feeding the monkeys. Enjoy and have fun!
Ultimate adventure. spend 3-4 hours. So many mischievous monkeys everywhere. You can even feed them bananas. They'll jump on you, sit on your shoulder and eat the Bananas. Forest is superbly maintained with Footpaths and Route marks. You may walk around the forest freely. There's a river and Short water fall and several photo points.
So much fun! Monkeys are EVERYWHERE and the tracks through the forest are beautiful, lined with huge and interesting trees. Costs 100,000 each to enter I believe but it's well worth it. The guides are happy to get the monkeys to sit on your shoulder for a small fee, which was great fun and the monkeys are so sweet and playful. I'm usually cautious about things like this (vegan) but the monkeys seemed totally at ease with the tourists.
50,000 entrance fee. It really looks like they’re taking care of this place. Definitely a must if your an animal lover. You’ll see monkeys everywhere . They can be so adorable. They will find food if you’ve got some. 5 minutes after we were inside, a monkey jumped on my bf backpack and was unzipping it. I had to give in and he ran off with 2 bananas 😂. There’s also a temple inside the forest, can’t go in but you can see inside. There are people keeping an eye on the monkeys. Just make sure you’ve got nothing loose on you either (like sunglasses).
Beautiful place to visit. You need at least an hour. The monkeys are wild and not afraid of humans. Entry costs 50000 rupiah .You cannot buy food for the monkeys there, so if you want to feed them bring bananas. Do not carry the bananas in your hands or the monkeys will drop on your head - carry them in a bag and take out one or two at a time. No gift shop unfortunately. But an amazing experience
Good place. More of an natural adventure. spend 3-4 hours with your family and kids. You'll find Many mischievous monkeys here. You can even feed them bananas. They'll jump on you, sit on your shoulder and eat the Bananas. Forest is superbly maintained with Footpaths and Route marks. You may walk around the forest freely. There's a river and Short water fall and several photo points. However, do not provoke the Monkeys. Theyre well known to take their revenge.
