Lovely little spot. Small fee is great and not expensive at all. Nice layout with amazing plants along paths between animals. Animal encounters are great. We are able to get close to tortoises and a snake that we love. Nice gift shop. Park itself is lovely to walk about and the play ground area is fantastic. Not used the rugby fields etc but they look well maintained.

A great park, with lots of lovely walks plus the miniature zoo and indoor tropical area and great new children's play area. A bit of Litter is evident, a few more litter picking up rounds and a lot more litter / dog bins would help. Also the sports area within the park is in the habit of putting their old scrap equipment and garbage into piles at the edges of their grounds and leaving it there.

Excellent day out was had .. used picnic area outside. Kids loved all the animals they saw & activities indoors ... sand in shaped glass bottles if I remember correctly. Lot to see .. Beautiful plants in like hot house .. all sweating profusely in there.

I would not recommend the cafe. I was in today, my friend and I had soup and an egg sandwich on brown bread. The bread was stale and had mould on it. The staff member only offered to replace which I took but could not bring myself to eat as I felt truly sick. I would not use again this just shows the food is not fresh!

This is a beautiful park, well looked after! Been a few times. Good seating areas throughout the park. BBQ area, Cafeteria, and small animal zoo! The play park is fab my son loves here it. Lots to do. There is a nature walk you can go on last time was a few years back it’s peaceful and great to do if you have the dogs or kids who don’t mind having a muddy walk. Lots to see and do!

Ace park. Loads to do. Child friendly. Dog friendly. Zoo is good and cheap. Only issue was the expensive ice creams. We would definitely return xxx

Walk dog at several parks and this has to be worst in terms of litter. Very few bins on country walks and litter everywhere after holiday weekend. Walked the dog for almost an hour and didn’t come across a bin ! Just encourages people to leave litter. There was even glass bottles in the river. Playpark and zoo are great for kids. Have never seen anyone cleaning the park Other parks are far cleaner and much better maintained

Wonderful place to visit Nice walks , fantastic adventure play park for kids . For a small very reasonable price there is a small zoo to spend enjoyable time with the kids. There is a cafeteria with reasonable prices. Outdoors has plenty of places with picnic tables and space to barbeque . Fantastic family day out .

Disappointed to see so much litter down near the river, especially dog poo bags. Such a shame because this is a wonderful place, a credit to the Local Authority and a fantastic free day out for families. The minimal charge for the zoo makes that great value, where else can you get that sort of experience for kids for 50p?
