Braehead (Scots: Braeheid, Gaelic: Ceann a' Bhruthaich) is a commercial development located at the former site of Braehead Power Station in Renfrew on the south bank of the River Clyde in Renfrew, Renfrewshire. It is particularly notable for its large shopping centre, arena and leisure facilities.
The shopping centre was rebranded as Intu Braehead in 2013 and carried that name until 2020. The rebranding was done as part of a corporate rebranding exercise by Capital Shopping Centres plc, who also was renamed, this time as Intu Properties plc.

Had a great freestyle lesson last night with Alan Robinson. He broke everything down into small chunks and built each section up bit by bit. Very encouraging when you got it right and knew straight away where you were going wrong. He also took my daughter Jade for a snowboard taster session which she thoroughly enjoyed and is looking forward to more lessons. Alan was very patient with her and she came away filled with confidence and looking forward to more lessons. She wants her own board and boots now! Thanks Alan

My husband and myself had enjoyed so much our 2nd snowboarding lessons with Andy! We came with no background but it was always something we wanted to try. We are really looking forward to our third lesson to be able in the future to enjoy a ride by ourselves! Also the staff is very friendly and there is really good facilities and a nice bar where you can relax after the lesson. I would recommend to go in the morning cause it's less busy 😊

Snowboarding Lesson For My Son I have used Snowfactor for a number of years now (previously Snozone) I find the place excellent as a place to ski and board and vastly superior for children to learn on real snow in a dry environment rather than take a chance of an outdoor lesson on an artificial slope with variable conditions (wind and rain) I find the booking very frustrating, it is mostly the case where lessons are simply not available, most likely due to lack of instructors. Something has to be done with the phone booking!!! Only being able to call on a premium rate phone number is a serious problem / issue and one that needs addressing! Absolutely no reason for a business to only have this, a simple standard phone number or better still a freephone (0800) number is what should happen here! No excuses for a premium rate number to call and book a ski lesson!! Sort it!!! Once you do get a lesson booked and get past the desk etc and onto the slope then it is generally a good experience. The strong point of this place and something that really should be acknowledged by the centre, is the staff and instructors who are always upbeat and friendly. If the booking system, phone system, availability of lessons and pricing was half as good as the slope staff then this place would be absolutely first rate! It is these small things that drag it down! I would like to pay particular praise to Esme, the instructor who took my son for his snowboard lesson, After the lesson he said " Esme was my favourite instructor ever" "I want to get another lesson with Esme" "I had the best time ever" All these comments are a credit to Esme who was fantastic with my son and was extremely encouraging and helpful! Esme made something that my son was nervous about into a fantastic experience for him! Will book both my children whit Esme if I can actually get that far with the booking system.

Had a great morning doing the ice climbing taster. Our instructor Kate was super friendly and did an excellent job, learned a lot during the session. Will definitely be back to continue with the skills lessons.

A great place to learn to ice climb. Skiing, snowboarding, sledging and other winter activities available too but my interest was in the ice walls. There are a variety of difficulties of wall from easy pitted rough walls through clear smoother walls. Crampons and ice axes are available as well as specialised boots and harnesses. Entry is all day which is good value if you want to split you day up with a movie or a meal. I would highly recommend to anyone of an active disposition, particularly if you have experience rock climbing.

Fantastic set of lessons for my 4 year old from Dyllan and Hannah- both brilliant instructors. She has loved every minute of it and has made fantastic progress.
