Gorgeous! The architecture, the history, the atmosphere. Everything is amazing. Be sure to buy tickets ahead of time. It can get sold out months in advance. We easily spent about 6-7 hours here and were satisfied but felt like we should've came even earlier. Being your own food as the food options here are limited and price is fair but the food isn't great. Keep in mind that the time on the ticket is for the Nasrid Palaces, as we saw multiple people get turned away from the palaces for coming 45min as they thought that the time was for general entry not specifically the palaces. Be sure to pack extra batteries and a portable phone charger. You'll definitely take a good number of pictures here!

A very beautiful place to visit! The gardens are spectacular and so is the detailed design of the buildings. You can get just about everywhere with a day pass, but the palace is really hard to get tickets to and where sold out over a month in advance in our situation. We were there in the very beginning of June, the weather was about 75F and no clouds, bring plenty of sunscreen and water (or buy it there). If it was in the middle of the summer, I could see this being a very hot day of walking. We did walk and take pictures for about 3hrs and that did not include the palace or some of the Alhambra areas outside the main walls. It was just the two adults and no kids, we also walk fast, but do take our time with photos. I believe my steps were about 16,000 by the end of it. You can take a bus/taxi up to the entrance or you can walk up to it, but the walk is pretty steep, but it's also very beautiful and good for your health :). There are 3 walking routes to/from the entrance to the city centre, we walked all of them and really enjoyed them. The night before our day trip we did the night tour, that was amazing as well. That walk time took about 1.5hrs.

It's definitely worth it. The architecture is spectacular and the views over the city are really nice. Of course it is very full and its good to book the tickets in advance. I was there in winter so the gardens were not as beautiful as I think they would be in spring/summer. Plan a good half a day, more if you really want to take your time.

Due to the popularity of this extraordinary place, admission is tightly controlled so that it does not become overcrowded and everyone has the chance to enjoy it. We had to book exactly a month in advance with a travel firm and we were taken in with timed tickets by a very well informed guide. Even so it was very busy! Still, it is an absolutely gorgeous Moorish Palace set like a jewel in the mountains, with stunning architecture, fountains and courtyards, mirror ponds and orange trees. It is worth doing a little research before you go so you make the most of your visit. It is a photographer's paradise, with enchanting vistas at every point. The gardens are beautifully kept with roses, hibiscus, Bougainville's and all those other colourful heat-loving plants. Well worth a visit but also worth planning ahead!

I didn't really want to go here initially but man am I glad my brother convinced me to go. This is one of the most beautiful places I've seen. The architecture and art work along with the sheer size of the place is amazing. Pictures don't really do it justice. Plus you get a fantastic view of Granada.

Great and awesome, what else! Granada is one of the most beautiful cities of the world. It has a remarkable history and it´s best known for the Alhambra in whole the world. It has stunning monuments. It´s worth being visited. Try to book a tour to the Alhambra cause the tickets are usually sold out. The best way is to book a tour guide ahead of time. It was a beautiful experience!

What an amazing place. This is it. It is definitely worth all the money and the visit. Make sure to book tour tickets in advance as there are limited tickets per day and normally they are sold out quite soon. Alhambra is a breathtaking complex in Granada. The gardens, the buildings and the whole architecture is unlike any place in Andalusia. Great place to go. A must see!

You can't miss this! It's an amazing place to visit in grenade. Fabulous architecture, and amazing gardens full of history. You have to book tickets online before going there, because its highly demanded, and it's a good value for the money (we paid like ±30€ for 2) Book tickets on the real website to avoid tours fees and enjoy your time there. Thank you for reading, and feel free to like R.

The gardens alone are fragrant and heavenly. Obviously the palace is remarkable. Getting in however can be a major undertaking and well planned far in advance. Don't bother taking many photos ... this building is well photographed by the hordes already so enjoy the details in reality and buy a book or postcards as a memento. Good luck!

GO HERE. Just do it. If I could do my visit over again, I would arrive at Alhambra close to their opening time, explore until I got hungry, leave for food, return and repeat for a snack, lunch, and dinner. I could have spent 2 full days here to see every detail. It's so incredibly beautiful and rich in history that I would probably go in just to walk around daily if I lived nearby. You MUST book your tickets in advance because tickets DO sell out. I bought mine 3 weeks early. I'm glad visitors are limited, though, so that the place isn't overcrowded and it can be enjoyed at a leisurely pace.

Amazing place. The architecture is out of this world. A definite must see if you visit Granada. Is one of those places in Spain that you can truly see the middle eastern influence of the past. Well done in the upkeep of the place, one would need a good three hours to see the whole place.

Overwhelming history, architecture, gardens and panoramic view. Too much to absorb in a single 3 hour visit. The problem is everything is worthy of a photograph and it can get very busy. Get your tickets in advance and schedule to arrive early or late if you don't want to spend time rubbing elbows with some other potential 4500+ daily visitors jumping into all your pics. The historic high is over 9200 and a low of 2200 on a specific day.
