EXTREMELY beautiful place, even though I was not able to complete the whole thing. BEWARE, their winter hours start as soon as the weather is somewhat cold, not per calendar. They do not check if the location is empty before locking up and will lock you inside even if you're inside past "closing hours", words of experience 😂 [if that were to happen dial 092 and the local police will let you out... or jump the fence].
Such a peaceful existence away from the (beautiful) but very touristy Alhambra. Particularly enchanting in the mornings - make sure to explore all the grounds.
I don't understand why this is not more often mentioned in guide books. The gardens are beautiful; with glorious peacocks walking around. There are also some dramatic views of the valley... And it's free too so grab a book and take some peace and quiet here for a little while
Small, peaceful, pleasant garden with a good view, and peacocks walking around. Next to the Al Hambra and the much grander Generalife gardens. (Carmen means walled garden.)
A piece of tranquility away from the hussle of tourist at Alhambra. With lovely gardens, amazing views & all free! :D
Very beautiful & maintained park. A wonderful place to walk & get rest. Historical buildings, Arabic style, beautiful flower beds, statues, fountains... You have to visit it. I like it. 😎
This is a hidden jewel of Granada. Not a place most tourists will ever know about, and also not many travelers. It's more of a local park that people native to Granada keep to themselves. It is an ideal location to spend a few hours in the afternoon with a small picnic lunch, enjoying the sprawling gardens and the peacocks calling out in the background. Bring a stale baguette to feed to the ducks at the ponds.
It seems a bit neglected. But it is very natural and beatiful garden with good views.
Very beautiful and calming place. Nice if you want a quiet peaceful walk.
