Attentive but not obtrusive service in the shop. Excellent coffee and cakes.
Great place. Excellent café and brilliant customer care. The shop is a wishlist for any kitchen.
Nice cafe. Stopped by fire a sandwich and tea adder a walk in Peaks. Nice one
Very interesting museum / displays on David Mellor design and production contribution to the UK and other society. Very high quality cafe, restaurant and home kitchen / dinning shop. Daily ( afternoon) tours of the David Mellor cutlery factory. Very attentive staff.
The museum section consists of David Mellor' s traffic furniture exhibits outside the Round house on the visitor pedestrian approach, exhibits are post box, traffic lights bollards ect. The displays inside the building are housed in wall display cabinets as much of it is silver cutlery. The displays show how David started his career and progresses through the iconic 1960's and 1970's designs. The British embassy silverware is especially nice. Then there's the shop which is also doubles as examples of designs. The workshops are open for tours at weekends so we will return one weekend for a look. We didn't use the cafe instead went into nearby Hathersage.
Great cafe with friendly staff and designer shop selling kitchen and dining equipment. Factory tours at weekends
Lovely place to look around. Very expensive but good quality kitchen things to buy.
Wonderful as ever. The staff are amazing and great sales people.
Pleasant environment with exhibits and goods for sale very well laid out. Excellent personal service in the café. We'd certainly go back!
The shop is full of kitchen utensils. Beware, it is not cheap but very good quality. Also there is a nice restaurant.
